Take a look through the comment section dmg. Take a look through the entire forum. Take a look over at some of the player count trackers. I hope the company from China has something to keep the lights on cause I have a strong feeling there won't be any players left to even watch the vidoc for season of opulence.

Edited by o r c a: 3/3/2019 12:55:06 PMTbh I'm not too objected to gambit as a game mode and I'll admit it has its enjoyable period, namely when on a streak with a fireteam of friends, but a whole season dedicated seems somewhat of a risky investment (which may yet pay off) The lore behind gambit and it's relation to the last word and the thorn is what makes me mostly excited and the lore on the nine could add more depth to a subject area which has previously remained elusive [spoiler]please have a teaser for the return of sweatfest- I mean trials at the end of nine weeks[/spoiler] and some of the content does look pretty engaging but seems like it would appeal to more of a niche sect of the playerbase. It's difficult to say where this season will take the game but and there may be a half month of content lull but this could bring some enjoyable content into the game. (Lore team keep it up btw!! Just wanted to thank you guys along with the other devs more making a world with such narrative potential which is really developing rn!)

Tldr Im excited for Season of the Drifter. I see a lot of people saying they don't like this or that about the season, but I'm really excited. I know Gambit is kind of dull, but the changes look great and I have high hopes for the new mode. The armor sets in particular are really cool. The Allegiance quest has actually convinced me to level a second character. I thought Black Armory was pretty good but could have been better. This certainly looks better. Really excites for Tuesday.

Today I finally got Breakneck. At Season 4 Launch I focused on Loaded Question. I could only manage about 3-4 strikes before getting bored. So That weapon took me about two weeks to force myself on getting. So from week 3 to today I slowly.. very slowly played Gambit so I could get this Pinnacle weapon. Combo it with Question and it's a good loadout. The weapon itself is ok. Now, The reason it took me 3 months to get thru 40 Matches (80 Rounds minimum) is because... Well.. boring. I do alot of invading and I think I'm pretty good at the mode but not to hardcore to go for the Dredgen badge.. maybe eventually I will get all the triumphs. I'm about half way thru them. I solo, I have no issues when going against Stacked teams.. most times my team tend to win against them.... Just wish Base Gambit was what you are doing with Prime... ONE ROUND. Maybe make it 100 Motes and your done. But that's really it, the game mode to me, is boring. I don't see how most streamers and tubers managed to get this gun in 24 hours.... When it was out. How can someone sit thru 80 Rounds of this... Over all Gambit is a good mode, but gets old pretty quick.

If only the game looked and played like your marketing. You guys should perhaps switch business models and get in to game promotion. Im very sad that gambit is what destiny has become. Im out for this season. APEX is what all my destiny friends and I are playing now. Very sad. Can you please make a destiny Battle Royal so I can have my radar back, better movements, go in with my own titan and custom build.... not have to hunt for a build Or choose a pre-fabricated character. Give me my guardian and 10 other teams and let us battle it out just like APEX... only better... Destiny!!!! Let us hunt for something else or get materials for building garrisons or forts, or find mods or shields.... get creative.... make destiny fun once again. Gambit and forges are too painful... Destiny is not building fun...
