Soo i started playing D2 in forsaken. Right around the Dawning/xmas. Now most loot pieces while difficult are not impossible for a new player to obtain. But is the Thunderlord impossible to obtain for me? All sources on how to get it says amanda holliday just gave out the quest during some event last fall. Do i have to wait a year for that event to come around again or will she simply never start the quest if you werent there? Is there something you have to do that i missed to trigger the quest to start? Kinda feels lame and not fair if new players simply cant get this loot. Kinda feels like all exotics should accessible given you jump through the necessary hoops. I could understand legendary gear thats not a staple of boss encounters being event specific like this, but an exotic that everyone uses for so many strategies in various encounters feels like something everyone should have? Maybe. Idk. What do you gotta say about it? Am i dumb, did i miss how to start the quest? is it bad to hide this loot from me and other new players? Do new people even play destiny anymore? Am i a fool for returning to destiny so late in forsaken? Should bungie give me the thunderlord for asking nicely? Or should i cry about it some more? Tell me.
