Did we get like a ton of pro players flooding the crucible?
Something drastically changed from the end of the week, I'd say Friday. I don't know what but me & my friends can't hit anything anymore we all dropped from 1.5 average to 0.7 average. It was really really hard to win a single match of Iron Banner! Losing 120 to 40, then breaking the team to find a better match and losing again with the double of our points. Only one person in our team went positive with efficiency and the opposite team is like 8 or 9 efficiency.
I play crucible almost every day it wasn't like that mid week. I could win a match of Rumble every 3 or 4, but this weekend it was so hard even just getting a win in quickplay!
What's wrong?!?!

from 1.5 to a 0.7 is a huge dip 😱

Yep. Been a slightly mixed bag but more often than not I've been getting wrecked in IB. Jumped in QP a few times and been fine, then back under someone's boot in IB.

Low level clan members need help with Iron Banner bounties. After that? They go out to the pub aka Quickplay lol

300k daily players spread across 3 platforms, 5 modes, and 24 hrs often means concurrent player numbers are low. Increased likelihood of playing against the small numbers that live Crucible. Also, PvP sees about 50% of players that log in each day (PvE figures ie effectively total log ins are 600k), yet checking real time activity and all PvP modes combined are in the 20-25% actively played area at most, which suggests many of the people that play PvP each day play very little of it, hence low concurrent numbers etc. Plus, has D2 IB not always been pretty much a stomp or get stomped mode, with the occasional filthy sweatfest?

Same thing happened to me, I wanted to try out a build I saw Cammy use and I couldn't get a good game in lol I think once the new season hits more people will come back (and after everyone's done playing anthem lol)

Maybe they could have changed the matchmaking in the background again, but that's just a guess Have you checked glory points from the opponents in IB or rumble?
-
Population low. Only tryhards left.
-
Everyone whos not hardcore pvp is leaving the game cause its boring ( including bungie lol) And the closer you are to next tuesday reset the sweatier it gets

Same issues for me. Playing pro stacks, all with a Luna's or NF against a bunch of randoms. Last IB wasn't like this.

Player base numbers are very low. Happens when the fun is removed.

People in the forums we saying that casuals should either get good or leave and play something else. Looks like maybe they took their advice.
-
All the casual players have left the game, leaving only the hardcore. It'll only get worse in that respect.
