104 Years Before Primaros;
"Mr. Backster, please tell me why you have decided to provide this information too us?" Andrew Cornel, head of the Cornel Family, and Planetary secretary of the Corundum System.
Backster had been betrayed by his own student, a man with blind passion and little restraint. "Arcturius is corrupt beyond repair, moreso than even your own government. I want peace and civilization, and I pledge my allegiance to whichever side can maintain that order and security." His own company, playing god in a blind race to win some arbitrary war. Disgusting.
"I never meant why you supplied this information to the Primedon. Why bring it to me, specifically? The Corundum system?" The Cornel family had an array of enemies, both political and economic, as the controllers of gabling empires always did. Andrew was no fool to this fact, and planned on continuing his family's legacy without fault.
"Never forget that I am and always will be, a business man." Backster had seen the potential here, and had no intention to rebuild himself from nothing. "You hold an empire beneath you, Mr. Cornel, but I know that you are a man of aspirations, Andrew. I was head of intelligence during my time at Arcturius. I have information on your enemies, both within the Primedon and without, and you have tools to deal with them."
So the man was proposing an under the books alliance. Andrew would have to put it on the list. "I see your point, and it's an excellent one at that! Allow us to pursue this . . . Discreet, political alliance. Here, visit these people;" Cornel handed Backster a small information card featuring the location of a pharmacy, near the capital of Corundum-2 "They'll fix you up, and by tomorrow you'll be a different man. This meeting between Mr. Cornel and Mr. Backster never happened. Have a good day, Sir Johnathan Cabben."

996 years After Primaros
"Even after so long you are still fightning a war about gods, devils, angels and demons. You are worshipped by your people as the final Ascendant, but you are merely the sixth in a far longer lineage. You are no Ascendant; I was there to see the first Teltronians rise. You are nothing compared to them."
"Then tell me about them! Let me learn from them, from you, and from history! Help me ascend so I can save them---"
"No. Your people will have no more saviors, no more ascendants, no more "Red Angels" to defend them. They will have to defend themselves, or die trying. Teltronians didn't survive by letting someone else save them. Before we were angels, we were devils, and were treated as such.
Find some shred of strength within your people, foster it and help it grow. Or otherwise, they will die. Maybe not with you, perhaps even long after, but they will die.
So is the cycle of history; It swallows the unprepared whole and with a natural non-remorse."
