The change in rpm from 55 to 70 will likely reduce pellet dmg in crucible for that archetype, thus needing an extra pellet to kill.
45s previously didn't have an option that allows for very long range so when this has moved to 55, it's taken about 1m off the effective range. This, coupled with whatever range nerf that's been introduced, could potentially bring OHK range down to the 7 - 7.5m range.
With 55s moving to 70s, there now isn't a solid option in the kinect slot. Some may say toil n trouble but the pellet spread on that gun is weirdly wild even with full choke. It remains to be seen if they'll be a new kinect shotty in jokers wild but it looking like well be moving into a 2 tap at very long range with full auto. That or the meta shifts backward to the baligent (which has a black armoury sister wpn).
Mindbinders will still be good (though still be have range nerf + dmg decrease) but I was focusing on kinect here.
I for one welcome the changes, metas been quite stale lately and hopefully this could see a slight shift. I'd love to see a slow charge kinect fusion in JW.

Yup, they said they were decreasing the damage to account for the rof changes on each archetype. That's an across the board nerf to PvP damage, but with a slightly faster follow up shot (except full auto, which will obviously have a slower follow up shot). PvE damage multiplier wasn't empirically clarified and sounds fishy. Will require field testing. But in theory, non rapid fire shotguns should be buffed in PvE, both in damage and rof. We shall see.
