I just can't seem to catch a break in this game mode! I like to think I'm a pretty skilled PvP player (just above average I'd say) but I can't compete against these sweaties running all the guns that we know are meta. These are especially potent when combined with one eyed mask. Personally I don't mind losing a few games but when it is EVERY, SINGLE, GAME I find that there is a problem.
I feel like it may be the way they fit clash into this game mode. For like half of my games my partner and I are being revived halfway across the map from each other due to the way our deaths are staggered: I die, he lives, he fights, I revive, he dies, I fight, I die, he lives, etc. And you could say, "Oh, just don't run into battle asap. Wait for your partner to respawn." I agree with that. However, when this happens, the enemy just pushes my spawn anyways and the cycle keeps going. I just can't find it in me to play this gamemode when all these factors are in place. I want to! But I'd honestly much rather play competitive and grind out my Luna than do this.
How do you guys feel about this event?

What are you expecting out of a competitive game mode? Do you just want the algorithm to throw you a pair of children with no previous Crucible experience to beat down for the next 10-12 minutes every match?
*Note, because I know that every damn one of you who disagrees with me is thinking it: 'competitive' with a lower case 'c'. Not 'Competitive'. Not every game mode is Competitive, but every PvP game mode is competitive. When ever you're playing against another human player who is also trying to win, you're playing a competitive game mode. That's literally the definition of the word. Yes, even Quick Play. Please don't get so caught up on the word. Thank you.
