TLW and Thorn should’ve been exclusive by character choice
I like TLW, it’s fun in crucible, but as someone who’s dedicated their character to achieving the Dredgen title and playing it as dark as the game allows, I found it a little unfair that I should get TLW.
“Light with a little grey?” Has this guy seen my profile?
On top of that, and I know this is controversial, but I think myself and anyone else who has the Dredgen title shouldn’t have to grind for Thorn when it comes out.
Now I mean this in the way those who earned redrix’s claymore were given the broadsword. I put in the hours to get Malfie, get all the RNG gambit triumphs, and so I think it’s only fair Dredgen just get the prize.
I’m not going to argue that those who don’t want their character to pledge allegiance to the Shadows of Yor should not be able to earn Thorn (as I was given TLW).
But I think this is a crossroads in destiny where they need to decide if they want ya as players who have some control over which path we lead our characters (moreso than what grenade we use), and if they want to keep stressing this whole ‘blurred line’ “what will you do?” “Why are you doing this?” Line of questioning, then they should let us decide.
