So if you remember or not, a little bit ago I made a post asking five questions to offtopic. Now some of the topics where strange and deep, others where not. From what data I received it was fun for everyone. So I’m going to ask five more questions. Some of these questions are not strange so get your imagination ready
1. Imagine there is a island that is never going to be discovered by anyone but you. Now you are given the power to morph with this island however you want, change nature, look, location, buildings, and you can even develop life. Now the island can never be interfered with and can’t interfere with the outside world. What would you do to the island and why?
2. Artificial intelligence. A interesting concept that could be in development. Now imagine you are given the chance to develop any artificial intelligence however you wanted. What would you do, why? Would you even make A.I. In the first place and why?
3. This one is a little darker. Say something happened to one of your goals and ideals happened and it went to the level of impossible to happen. Say in order to achieve your goals you have to make a deal with someone or something evil. What would cause you to come to this option and is your greatest goal worth breaking your morals? Why?
4. Now this one is more practical. Well for dimension traveling reality. Well maybe. What would you rather have. You are given the option of a life full of adventure, traveling dimensions, and doing all of that. BUT you can’t have a family. OR would you give up the chance of adventure for a relaxed life with a house and a family? Why?
5. Say you are remembered throughout history. You are remembered in the history books and even in statues. Now you can only be remembered for one of your traits. Which one trait of yours would you want to be remembered for for the rest of history. Why
Bonus 6th question: if you where to be stuck in one old time period (before the 1700s) which one would you chose. But here is the catch, the Internet and WiFi exists. Now no search engines or modern day knowledge exists but the Internet does so everyone can share ideas. Basically places like Ancient Greece where everyone has computers
So thank you for doing this. You can answer any questions you want. Here is a quick description of each question
1’ basically if you where a god of a island what would you do
2. If you created AI what would it do and would you
3. to achieve your greatest goal would you make a deal with something truly evil
4.Would you rather have adventure or a normal life [
5. What trait would you want to be remembered for
Bonus. Which ancient civilization would you live in... and free wifi
Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 2/8/2019 2:01:18 PM1. I’d basically just make it into a giant holodeck from Star Trek so that I could basically “play” in any scenario whenever I want. 2. I’d want to make it and ask it as many philosophical questions as possible because it would be coming at those topics from a different place than us in that it would actually know it’s creator and the reason it was created. I don’t think I would though because I just don’t see it going well. The creation of life is a topic that has always fascinated me and I have found that my views on it are different than most. 3. Depends on the figure and the terms of the deal. If the terms of the deal required that harm come to anyone, that would be a no. 4. I’d be out the door before they finished asking me if I wanted to go. 5. Intellectual honesty or kindness, if anything at all. 6. I can’t really think of anything because I would MUCH rather go to the future.
-
5. I wouldn't want to be remembered. 4. Stay with my family, because we some cool people. 2. I wouldn't make it all, or I would just make it on a laptop that wouldn't be connected to the internet so I could just have a person to talk to. 3. lmao this can be answered with "no" because I don't have many goals. 1. I would make the island a little vacation home, a little cove. 6. 1890's london. If there is the internet, you could probably catch a certain murderer quite a lot quicker :)

Edited by The Superego: 2/7/2019 5:08:45 PMI make a cool little hideaway with no bugs or fish, but the plant ecosystem stays normal. Oops posted early check for further responses. I'd create an A.I. that follows a strict code of ethics with the goal of conquering the world anyway possible, without comprising the code of ethics. Finally Bering an end to political problems Welcome to reality, despite our best efforts good may not win. Despite this, we must keep fighting until we cannot fight no more. Additionally, making a deal with the devil typically doesnt go the way you wanted and just makes everything worse. Family, adventure sounds cool but can end up very very bad, where as you can have the same experiences with a family just more mild. My idealism and stubbornness.

Most of these questions can be adequately answered with a Lenny. You have my answers.

Edited by HungryTurtle34: 2/6/2019 10:29:21 PM1. Sovngarde. Nuff said 2. AI will probably kill us all, so I’d destroy it 3. No reason to get screwed over in the future by a darker power, so no. 4. Family, much better than being lonely forever. I’d say that’s an undeniable truth. 5. Hendoism 6. Shakespeare times would be hilarious with internet.
Praise Calus!
1. I'd be a larger version of Vvardenfell with Warmind bunkers surrounding the "Red Mountain". 2. Basically Rasputin but speaks English too and has the capabilities of Mendicant Bias. 3. The main thing that would push me to do this is a simple one, for my life and enjoyment of life to be Eternal, and I'd go through the deepest of the Void and the Eternal Abyss just to reach that goal. 4. I'd adventure across the Aurbis, in search for a way to be Eternal. and while I'm at it, may as well -blam!- a Thicc Dunmer woman. 5. My Humanity. 6. The Romans because they have the best tech for the time and the best location for me.
-
Edited by Romans43: 2/6/2019 8:22:58 PM1. Make it Minecraft, duh. 2. AI Siri. One that is responsive and with a personality instead of saying “I can’t answer that” to every question not programmed in. 3. Probably not. My goals aren’t that big. Plus, all magic comes with a price. 4. Normal life. Walking sucks muchly. 5. Looking like an human. B. 80s United States
-
1) make a harem 2) i wouldnt make one, too much work 3) I dont have dreams 4) adventure 5) for single handedley screwing over a massive empire/regime 6) prolly greece or somthing
-
1. i'd load that island with ahamkara. 2. HAL-9000 3. My greatest goal comes from my morals, to be of service to others and to bring glory to God, so no. 4. No 5. Problem solving, or service. 6. Ancient Greece or Rome.
-
Edited by Loot: 2/6/2019 5:40:31 AM1. I would make all the wildlife dinosaurs, and make all the plants prehistoric, and then I would hunt said dinosaurs 2. I wouldn't even make it to begin with. 3. Well one of the goals is dominating the planet so yes, I wouldn't my morals wouldn't get in the way of that. 4. Definitely the adventures, I don't really care about having a normal life. 5. My sarcasm, because it would be funny, and then history wouldn't suck so much. 6. Probably in Greece's prime.
not included in the DLC
Edited by ALIAS-F4LS: 2/6/2019 4:58:02 AM1. I would probably try to mix Victorian and Cyberpunk into some sort of gothic neon hybrid city. I have an idea in my head of how it would turn out. Maybe set myself up as an overlord. 2. I'd probably go with an automated city with an AI to keep an eye out for anything that might be good to know. It would need permission to act on things of course, but I think it would be useful to be aware of everything around you. 3. Break a few rules and morals for my goal? Now where's the problem with that? 4. I'd rather adventure. I just don't feel any interest in making my own family for some reason. 5. Remember me for for that spark of strangeness that proved it was ok to break the mold sometimes. 6. Either Roman Era, or the time of the Prussians. Both interest me for different reasons.
-
Edited by Toa167: 2/6/2019 3:30:18 AM1) I would use it for sport and bring stuff from video games to life. 2) Have it help humanity by developing advanced technology but with the understanding of morals and the value of life 3) No 4) Yes 5) Dunno 6) 1699

An escape from reality kind of place. 2: I don't trust AI. I would scrap the opportunity. 3: I would refuse the opportunity. Life is temporary. Not worth it selling your soul. 4: yes. I'm too young for the mindset of kids and family. 5: pride. 6: 1699.

1. I would turn it into a home for Humans and Faunas alike, and name it Menagerie. 2. I would fragment the A.I’s in order to get more AI so I can create Super Soldiers that are unrivaled. Obviously 🙄. 3. Yes 4. I would gain power and Customizble High-Impact Sniper Rifles our of it, so yes to adventure. 5. Quicksaving... I would be wanted to be known and feared by people as a clever, charming, and cunning thief. 6. Egypt mother-blam!-er

The second question determines my existence 0-0

1) I'd build a Dark Tower extending into space where I'd begin the Great Work. 2) Nano machines that resemble oil. They infect the living and change them. Compleating them. A perfect form of flesh and metal. 3) Father of Machines, grant me power so that I may unite the world! All will be one! 4) Adventure sounds fun. 5) Remember me for my Perfection. Bonus) Ancient Egypt.

1. I would make the island into a wide bright wilderness. Rolling highlands would bely the low valleys with rivers below them. Mountains would stretch to the sky, snowy on the top with great line trees. The weather would be pleasant and on the cool to chilly side at worst. I would live in a castle made of stone where I could tend to all the animals that I would put there, namely horses and sheep, dogs of Shepard variety and all the creatures of the highlands, mountains, and forests. 2. I would choose not to create A.I. because of the potential risks involved and because I wouldn't want to play god (ignore the island building I just did...) 3. My greatest goal is to do good, therefore to join the evil would be the opposite of it, so I would have to opt for failure in life and not impact the world for good or ill. However, if I could theoretically save the souls and lives of all humanity by joining the darkness to bring them to the light...I would do it. 4. I would choose to make a family, what is man without a legacy? And what greater legacy than a child? 5. If I were to be remembered in history, I would want people to look at a statue of me and think, "This man was full of Honor, and he never strayed from it. Bonus 6. I would live in the Greco-Roman period, where philosophers lived and thrived, where wars were still fought with honor, where world wide empires emerged more often than any other time in Earth. There I could discuss government's beginnings with Romans and Greeks, discuss the state of the world with the Pre-Jesus Jews, and talk of world domination with Alexander the great.
