Can't shoot after whipping out the Last Word
Started noticing this,
Most of the time, when I pull out the last word I can almost immediately start shooting (amazing handleing and all that) but [i]sometimes[/i] I pull it out, ADS, and... nothing, I have to start shooting again for it to start firing. Really annoying because I lose a lot of gunfights this way.
Anyone else noticing this?

Definitely noticeable. I hit a quick sniper body shot, then try to switch to TLW, only to have the gun locked. It's gotten me killed so many times, and robbed me of so many easy kills.

Yes I also noticed this a few times yesterday. Lucky pants removes the twirl animation allowing quicker handling but sometimes the gun will not fire. I'd say it's a bug

Yep. Even with Lucky Pants, or Ophidian Aspect with hand cannon dexterity, it's pointless. Your gun locks up and you stare at them for 2 seconds before you can fire. Needs a fix.

I haven’t got the gun yet but another guy said it’s tardy when drawing while sprinting but fast when walking or standing still. Just wondered if this was that.

2 RepliesThis was an issue in D1 too. Just more proof this game is a copy paste but anyway yeah it seems to happen with certain weapons and I think something to do with sprinting. They won't fix though unfortunately.

Yeah, felt it sometimes. I think it must be twirl animation maybe?[i] The time kinda-sorta matches.[/i] Like when you animation-cancel a sniper reload and still can't shoot.
