[spoiler] Pt 5[url]https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/250835320[/url][/spoiler] Following their scanners, the Guardians followed their ghosts up to the roof right where an explosion occurred blasting a hole right onto the roof. “Exhibit A,” Pegasus said as he looked up at the sky. “Nose goes!” he swiftly said pressing a finger to his metal nostrils. “You’re such a baby,” Zana said. “Hey, in my guts, and in my circuits, I just feel like there’s a BAD bigger than that tank outside, so I want to go up after everyone else. Just a hunch.” Pegasus said. At the same moment Caliva’an was in the lab’s basement finishing his work at the generator’s consoles, “Glory to my Emperors!” he said. The console lit up along with the generator displaying a message that read “SHIELDS POWERED” “I guess our compatriot has done his part,” Vo’or said to Canus. “Then now is the time to end the pest of that Shell of a God they praise.” Canus replied. “If both of you fear battle so much, I shall go forth.” Vince boosted himself up onto the roof. Seeing the two Valus there he began to fire immediately from his auto rifle. The bullets bounced away from them both. Canus winced his eyes, Vo’or noticed this anf commented. “Afraid brother! Of that which can’t hurt you! Let me prove to you our indomitable strength.” Vo’or began to walk towards Vince unflinching. Ti and Neo joined him on the roof. Seeing his efforts, the two also began firing on the enemy they threw every grenade possible, as Valus Vo’or stepped towards them, hate in his eyes. Marlo appeared besides Vince, “Vince stop this, weapons aren’t working they have an impervious shield protecting the both of them, I think- Wait-Yes, my scans are reading a power source for both of them. If I can get to the generator in the basement, I can undo this code!” Giving up his efforts, Vince switched to a rocket launcher. Blasting it nearly 20 feet away from the Colossus Vince hoped the smoke after the detonation would reveal his enemy lain out over the rubble. To his surprise he saw nothing but blue lights flash in his eyes as a huge fist burst through the smoke, grabbing him by the neck. “You’ve lost Guardian, nothing can save you now,” this was all indecipherable to Vince, as Valus Vo’or charged his gauntlets with arc energy, Vince screamed in agony as he was shocked. “AGHHGHGHGHGHHH!!!” With that, Vo’or threw the Titan towards his comrade. “Vince!” Zana and Pegasus-10 shouted. Valus Vo’or turned his attention towards the two hunters, “Resistance is futile fools.” Vo’or knelt over the ground resting his hands face down, his armor began to glow white as a shockwave of arc energy shot towards his foes. “AHHH!!” both P-10’s and Zana’s ghost cried out in agony. “His gauntlets- are powered with arc energy. We can’t get hit with another one of those” Neo screamed. With that Pegasus dodge out of harm’s way and began shooting at the Valus’ hand from a flank, he managed to short circuit the left arm. Canus looked over Vince’s dead body, “How pathetic, a human’s soft flesh could never hope to defeat the might of Cabal.” Marlo appeared right beside Vince’s ear, he was angry, “Vince, wake up he doesn’t think we can beat him. -------SPARK------ “He… is mistaken, my friend.” Revived again, Vince flew right into a clash with Valus Canus, his blade meeting a Hammer of Sol as Vince glared him down with fiery eyes. The Centurion laughed to himself, “no matter how strong you are we will annihilate you and YOUR FRIENDS!” The light on Canus’ cannon switched to white as it whirred to life sending a concussive blast of energy straight towards Zana who was still recovering. Her ghost was too late to warn her. As if it all happened in slow-, Zana was sent flying along the debris on the roof, 40 feet out above a 25 story drop. And as if on sync, Canus shouted to his brother, “Now!” Vo’or looked towards the female hunter hanging in the air his helmet’s program began computations and every self-replicating missile in his launcher locked on to their sole target. As Zana plummeted toward the grounds 21 arc warheads followed her. Creating the most egregious noise as the shockwaves bombarded the ground beneath them. “YOU MONSTERS!!” Vince shouted. With one clever movement, Vince managed to flip the Valus over his shoulder. He regrouped with Pegasus on another side of the roof. “What are our options? Pegasus, Neo!” “For starters, let’s try and not get hit with any of their attacks. I’m sure Zana’s fine, but we can’t win like this!” Pegasus shouted to his friend. “Okay!” Vince agreed. For the rest of the battle Vince and Pegasus dodged all over the place, avoiding a barrage of missiles and waves of concussive blasts. The Cabal were just as tired. “Brother!” Vo’or shouted to Canus, “I feel the final blow will be dealt soon.” Firing of another grenade Canus replied, “By which of us, me or you?” “Fate will deal it!” Vo’or replied. Marlo appeared besides his guardian. Vince I found the source of their shields power, it’s hidden deep in the lab! Right below us, but we must lure them there. I can transmat any of the fuel tanks in the labs right here, I’m sure we’ll go crashing down but with them, but with both of you covering me I can drop those shields and we can finish them with more explosives.” “You have a deal Marlo, get the explosive ready friend, Pegasus you pin the enemy down.” Vince stated. At this point Canus and Vo’or had the enemy cornered behind a barricade in the center of the roof. Vo’or spoke, “Canus you use a concussive blast and break the cover, I’ll rush in and rip the Exo’s skull from his body.” “Agreed,” Canus replied. Before any of this could transpire Pegausus-10 came spinning out from behind cover and fired a void tether right in between the two Cabal. “They’re pinned!” Pegasus shouted. And right as Canus fired off a blast Marlo dropped 5 fue canisted right in front of the barrel of his gun. The explosion sent the four warriors crashing through the ceiling. They were all concussed from the blast, but Vince stood again, as the Cabal struggled to stand. “I’ve already set the explosives up on the remaining floors we just have to keep them going!” Marlo appeared and shouted before disappearing again. With the new info Vince threw a fusion grenade right on top of a canisters. The floors collapsed again beneath them all. “Vo’or!” the Guardians are clever, Canus shouted. “It’s fine now, the tethers hindering us are gone.” Vo’or replied. “No, ya don’t” Pegasus squealed as he hastily pulled up his right hand rather sloppily and fired off another arrow. As the enemies were pulled down by gravity, he pulled out his handcannon and fired off a shot at the canisters. They all fell again, this time a chain reaction sending them down to the very first floor in a flurry of explosions. The Cabal were in much better wear than their opponents and Canus’ cannon switched to the red light as he aimed a fiery shot right at Pegasus. As he did this Marlo dropped another canister right in front of the barrel of the gun as it fired. Peguasus-10 was sent flying further into the facility, and the remaining canisters plunged Vince and the Bond-Brothers into the deeper levels of the laboratory.
