Clan Rewards and Scaling Issues

So, looking through the latest TWAB, I saw the clan reward problem being addressed thusly: [quote]Starting in Season 6: We’re returning to the Destiny 2 launch system for gaining clan experience. Go play activities in the game and you will earn clan XP and level up your clan. As a result, daily clan bounties are no longer needed, and have been removed from the game. [/quote] This would be gratifying if not for two big question marks. First, is each toon still being capped at 5000 Clan XP per week? This system was in place at launch and it has probably been the single biggest impediment for small clans like mine. At launch, I think the highest my clan ever got in rank was 4. We've certainly never maxed out ranks. We're still rocking that original clan banner stave because we are literally too small to be generating the XP necessary to max out. Unless toons are uncapped as far as clan XP contributions per week, the small clans aren't going to be feeling much in the way of love. It'll be less painful than it is now, but putting us back to a position that was only marginally better pre-[i]Forsaken[/i] isn't going to be doing anybody any favors. Second, is there a scaling solution being put in place based on the size of the clan? Because I can tell you right now, the small clans are still going to feel like they're being screwed over if the entire player base has to be hitting the same XP targets. Especially if the per-week XP cap is still in place. Clans with total rosters numbering in the several dozens are going to be making ranks without breaking a sweat. Even if only half the roster plays on a given week, that's still a lot of XP being generated. Meanwhile, small clans aren't going to generate that much XP per week no matter how many activities they do. It potentially creates a perverse incentive for small clan players to grind themselves to death trying to get the XP for the rewards. The smarter idea would seem to me to create a tier structure where clan numbers slot them into a given tier (multiples of 10 are easy enough to envision), and rank thresholds are scaled to the tier.
