While this isn't an entirely pressing issue, it is something that I feel needs addressing, and also something I have seen little conversation regarding. On multiple chestpieces for Female Awoken Hunter characters, the neck of the player character clips through the chestpiece's collar, in varying degrees of severity depending on the chestpiece in question.
Several chestpieces from across several of Destiny 2's seasons have this issue, although there are some exceptions where no clipping can be immediately seen, such as the Lost Pacific Vest, Woven Firesmith Vest and Braytech Combat Vest.
Chestpieces that do have this issue include:
- All Uncommon, Green quality Hunter Chestpieces.
- Exodus Down Vest/Simulator Vest
- Kairos Function Vest (Severe Clipping)
- Reverie Dawn Hauberk
- Prodigal Vest
- The Dragon's Shadow (Severe Clipping)
- Gwisin Vest
- The Sixth Coyote
Notes: While I have heard a rumour that these clipping issues are due to a misalignment of Playable Awoken heads, I haven't found any solid evidence to confirm this.
Also, I have not investigated this issue with Awoken Titans, Awoken Warlocks, Male Awoken Hunters or Non-Awoken Hunter characters, as I have yet to create characters of those types.
I am unsure how many people are aware of this issue, or if Bungie are aware, themselves, but please upvote this so that we may inform them. Thank you.
