In the latest update, proximity grenades on grenade launchers were nerfed to no longer detonate on direct impacts. This means no more one shot direct hit kills if your militias or play of the game has proximity nades. I used to love my militias, but after the unnecessary nerf it sucks. Like, it’s downright unusable. Even a point blank direct hit from my heavy grenade launcher can’t one shot anymore!
After reaching fabled this season I just wanted to get my double kills done for mountaintop pretty easily. I was at 40% and after two days of grinding them after the update, I’m at 50%. And keep in mind that this is a lot of grinding, I had off of school this whole week. I just want to know why proxy nades were nerfed, despite almost no one using grenade launchers in PvP. I have never, ever heard anyone complain about how overpowered proxy nades are. Yet, they have already received two or three nerfs.
Can we buff proxy nades again? There’s literally no point in using them now.

I always played a warlock with Subtle Calamity and Militias Birthright cause it was fun, and I got pretty alright with it. It's my main PVP loadout, but now there's no special weapon I can use that isn't a shotgun, unless I wanna be helpless against the other 80% of guardians that all run Ace/Lunas with Dust Rock/Mindbenders, and the Titans who have a wallhack overshield exotic, and one-shot melees. It feels more like they're nerfing fun, than overly used metas. :/

I don’t understand it but Bungie just can’t seem to get grenade launchers right. Even heavy ones are trash.

I agree with you man, I farmed my ass off for a good roll on my Miltias birthright, now it is useless. I’m just saying if a grenade hits you directly it should kill you proximity or not. The nerf also rendered my perk useless( ambitious assassin)
