While us #Gaming folks make ourselves at home here in #Offtopic (thanks again for that), I figured this would be a good time to talk about other homes in games.
The Hub area of a game is often to closest thing us player call home between our adventures, right? Sure, they don’t always have clear lodgings for us, but they’re that safe place to come back to.
What’s your favorite, or a good runner up? What’s a hun you wish other companies would look at? What would you call home in a game universe?

The Darkest Estate, in Darkest Dungeon. In a lot of ways, I prefer the time I spend in this little village more than the expeditions. It always feel great to come back from an expedition with upwards of 5000 gold to buy new armour and weapons for my soldiers, or upgrade their abilities, or force them to become alcoholics... I mean relieve their stress in a bar. Darkest Dungeon does a lot of things right, and the hub area is definitely one, even if I wouldn't exactly call it a home.
