Siegebreaker Forecast - How good will it be

Code of the Siegebreaker, world known worst Titan subclass is getting a buff tomorrow. We all know that it has the worst damage super wise, and does not have melting point. The damage buff to the super itself was not clarified, but what we do know is that the burn damage will be doubled. I went to good old Greg on Titan and found the base numbers for the super: Impact - 2045 Burn - 300 The burn did not appear to stack, as when I had more sunspots up the damage ticks still appeared at the same rate. However, they did increase the area at which the damage would be dealt. From what the update said, the expected numbers for tomorrow will be like this: Impact - <2045 Burn - 600 The burn seemed to account for most of the damage, so this by itself would be a stellar buff. However, I threw on synthoceps to see if that would affect the burn damage. Here is what I got: Impact - 3067 Burn - 449 Thats about a 50% damage buff. So if we were to add the buffs from tomorrows update to them, we would get Impact - <3067 Burn - 896 Sunspots last around 5 seconds, and I have no idea how many ticks of damage they do per second. However, after looking over video of the testing, around 3-4 ticks of burn appeared each second. In short, sunspots will be doing somewhere around 3584 damage to Greg after the buff. Is this better than Top Tree? Probably not. Melting point is still insane, however, the update also said that standing in a sunspot will buff all outgoing damage. So all of these numbers will be higher if you have passed through, or are standing in a sunspot. Hopefully the damage buff is decent enough that it encourages passing through sunspots, and isn't something to look over.

  • Remember: - Activating siegebreaker on the ground will create a sunspot where you’re standing. - melee also creates sunspots for increased damage shenanigans. - Standing in a sunspot increases super duration.
