Competitive should have a solo queue playlist with party chat disabled.
My reasons why competitive should have a solo queue playlist with party chat disabled.
1. TEAMS (4 stacks, 3 stacks, or even 2 stacks) are over powered
- Communication - a team of 4 is able to call out/talk with each other at every moment during the match. while a solo queue player doesn't even know if the players on his teams could hear him because of Party chat or not being in the team voice channel.
2. glory rank gaps will decrease - if everyone is queueing solo then there shouldn't be a problem sorting out teams to equal each other's glory. it wouldn't be common for a LH/NF be in a 1300 glory mm and vice versa.
3. Less likely for people to pay for carries. EX: a person paying 3 Not forgotten players to carry him to Luna's howl or Not forgotten.
4. Queue dodging - EX: I joined and LFG because I was sick of playing solo against a bunch of pre-made teams. the leader of this LFG said and the 2 other immoral players just kept backing out if the circle in the right-hand corner hit 8 too quickly. which is super scummy IMO.

3 RepliesI don’t think competitive should do anything to facilitate solo play, the mode is not just about gun skill but good team play and tactics as well. I really think that all solo players (I am one myself) should LFG if they are expecting to be successful. However, I do think there should be a pinnacle Rumble reward and even a competitive Rumble mode for singles.

This “fourstack” negativity shit has to go, players who play with clan members or friends in team based game modes are not the issue, the solos that think the game should cater to their needs are the issue I play alone often in team based activities and it’s fine, no further catering needed. I also don’t believe the player base can support the breaking up of its overall player base for a solo queue Though I do wish that QP, gambit or comp had a solo queue for just a week, to show those that blame teams that they are still rubbish and their complaints are unfounded.

Yes I agree I don't see anything wrong with adding some sorta solo comp option I mean the game lacks content and I feel solo options would give new players a chance to figure out mechanics and general play Sense

This solo queue team play with no communication sounds like an introverts dream, but most like to play with friends and or communicate with team mates.

Never thought I would say this but yeah sure we need a solo playlist in comp.this matchmaking change has scared my clanmates off so I have been running solo. I get paired with alot of 4 stacks which I'll ok with. But when I do have a team it finds me a 4 stack team instantly we never get solo players. In the higher end of the glory it's longer hold times but I play the same teams over and over again I don't think it's right. I still get matched with teammates way under my glory most of the time.. I think a freelance playlist would be nice. But 4 stacks are scared to play other 4 stacks.. I don't know if the game mode is just singling me out but it sure does feel like it. When I play with a full team I get Max ranked players. But when I'm solo I play max ranked players with low ranked players on my team. Difference between this matchmaking and prior is that it's a longer wait now. I win games yeah but u loose more points than u win

if you put in a solo queue then you are putting 3 stacks at a disadvantage because they will never have a 4th in game. this will never work unless you make a playlist for 2 and 4 stacks only and solo only. you would have get rid of 3 stacks

5 Repliesi don't touch competitive because i'd mainly solo but honestly, you're wrong here. Would you go play pickup soccer/basketball/hockey with some randoms on the street but say "you cant talk to each other?" make a fireteam or suffer in silence.

This would fix so many things wrong with Comp. The only other way to fix Comp is to limit it to team only play. I mean, seriously, right now, solo players are just fodder for teams in comp. I would really like to see teams play against each other to see who is the best. Get a real ranking system going. It's time Bungie! CAN WE REALLY CALL IT COMPETITIVE IF THERE ARE NO TEAM RANKINGS AGAINST OTHER TEAMS. All comp is in Destiny 2 is just "harder than quickplay." That's all it is. Make a legit league, Bungie. So, make a Solo only lobby along with a Team lobby and finally fix this thing.

Your lack of callouts for simple things can make the difference between a win or a loss. You are a detriment to your team if you can't learn the game and play as competitively as possible. Anything competitive worth is team based or at least duos. Communication is key in high level play in separating those with skill and strats to those that don't have either.
