This past week I experienced death by the Jotuun. And like Dear god. I'm saying it now, as soon as more people get their hands the Jotuun, it will 100% become abused. Telesto 2.0. When we're nerfing Telesto but simultaneously adding Jotuun someone has to say something. I mean it can cross map and it tracks (Check that Frost video it starts at an example). If you have to nerf a gun, it means it was a bad idea to make it that strong in the first place.
That said, I'm not here to cry nerf, I am here to address the greater ideology behind "breaking the game", how a lot of these things even get put into the game. The theme I gathered from the Forsaken ViDoc was that Bungie was going to push the limits and break the game. Since the DLC came out this has slowly started to make PVP incredibly cheesy and extremely frustrating for players who actually take it seriously. Do we need 2 sandboxes? What are everyones thoughts about this?

Edited by Nidy: 1/22/2019 10:20:10 PMI just got the Jotun and ran a couple pvp matches. Its simply ridiculous. It's the equivalent to sleeper hitting from across the gambit map. I say that as the one using it. I was literally laughing it was so silly. Crucible will be overrun with that soon. Telesto is probably still better just because of laying a trap on certain maps.

But it is easy to dodge the gun... It is actually balanced. The tracking sucks and if you cant see someone charging the giant toaster of a gun to dodge it well, then I guess you will die. The gun is also inconsistent with killing people.

Yes. Thank you. Jotunn is literally a secondary sleeper. Its worse than telesto ever was
