Bring Ada-1 type bounties to all vendors and add random rolls to year 1 gear
The Ada-1 bounties feel good. You are intentionally grinding for a specific item when you buy frames. I want these type of intentional bounties brought to all NPCs. I would even go as far as to say we can remove milestones too. Let me give an example.
Zavala: You go to Zavala, do dailys and weeklys. Once you complete a weekly you get the powerful item bounty. There should be two bounties from each NPC, one armor and one weapon. But you know what type you would be grinding for. So maybe this week Zavala has the pulse and a helmet. So you get a weekly token for completing the weekly bounty and turn in the token to get the helmet powerful item bounty. That bounty requires you to get kills in strikes, do patrols, ect, similar to an Ada-1 frame unlock. Then when the bounty unlocks it requires a strike completion, and at the end of the strike you get the drop. Then the bounty resets, you can get it again with strike tokens but the next time it drops a regular powered item but with different rolls.
This would be amazing. I think the power grind sucks and it would help with that because it brings intentionality. If you need a helmet this week you go to the vendor that is selling a helmet bounty. If you want a specific weapon with a specific roll you can keep doing the bounty over and over. All Bungie has to do is bring all the year one gear forward with random rolls and all of a sudden there is so much to do again. It makes you want to grind for things instead of needing to grind for power.
There is nothing worse than doing a milestone of things you don't enjoy only to get gloves when you don't need gloves. It feels bad. Intentionality is needed in the grind.
