Collections Not Updated

I have a ship on my hunter with the transmat effect "Reflections", yet when I check in my collections, I am unable to reacquire said transmat effect. Is this by design or a bug?

Times Vengeance

Transmat Effects that come already applied to ships are not added to your Collections, just like shaders on gear.
