Check out my playtime on time wasted. Smokey Mcblaze on xb1 and smokeymcblaze226 on ps4. Over 2500 hours into destiny. Just to verify im not some noob talking smack. Im invested in this game mentally and most certainly financially. Ive completed every activity there is to do except getting not forgotten and this trash niobe labs. I was so excited for this week. Beyond normal excitement. When i heard that niobe was a puzzle that would be unlocked and effectively useless once completed, my hope was shattered. I wsz expecting a black armory shattered throne essentially. Obviously bungie never made claims about that but none the less, i think alot of players felt the way i did. Between all of the copies of destiny 1 and 2, all dlcs, and a rediculous amount of microstransactions. My final finacial investment into destiny is sitting at $480. I feel that i have a right to be upset by this content considering my investment of time and money. This is horseshit bungie. You are a triple A game developer who cant even effectively make content that supports the whole player base. Black armory as whole was a bust. The best part of my expierience so far was seeing uldren wake up wondering what the hell just happened. Ive completed the entirety of the content and im left feeling ripped off. My suggested fixes are as follows. Stop with the living expierience. No one cares about being trickled through story content week after week. What you guys need to do is add more weekly milestones. Shift your attention from these half assed stories into something real. Instead of a base and 3 dlcs throughout a year just make it two base releases with an absured amount of content and activities to complete. All microtransaction content should be exclusive. If you dont want to pay for it you cant get it, period. Its really annoying for a premium spender like myself to see the content i just paid $15 for available to everyone the next month. The next year, sure. No problem there. Also, stop listening to Activision. I dont know what your financial situation is but i feel like the best move here is to buy destiny outright. Activision has expessed there dissatisfaction and are probably at the point where they would let it go for the right price. The age of the small game devloper is coming. No one in the community is ok with what AAA games are right now. No one. You can do it better than they can. Its really disturbing to have lived through 80% of the history of video games and see it turn into this -blam!-ery. Bungie, i love you guys. You have made some of the best games of our age but its taking a turn. You are effectively allowing activision to ruin you. Just like they have done to many developers in the past. Get out of destiny or buy it outright. Gamers are seriously starting to talk with there wallets. Ea learned that harsh lesson this year and lost near 100 million because of it.
