Lockdown-
Terrible gametype. Worst idea for an objective mode in my opinion. Throw it and replace it with pure mayhem in the mayhem playlist.
Just now, loaded up the gametype and found an opposing team farming kills. One player had stopped playing entirely and was just waiting for the match to end. I quit also after 70 kills because they kept supers and heavy on lockdown.
Here's what I recommend:
Replace lockdown with mechanics which promote king of the hill or territory grab. You get X time to score X points in each hill or X time to capture a designated zone. 30 seconds later? Switch and get ready for the next hill or territory.
As it is right now? I will not play lockdown any further. I am not here to watch lesser enabled players stop playing all together just to be a stat which won't matter next year. Gametypes being updated and tested should never be approved when a timer to end the match is not present or a simple, "hey, the enemy team has over 300 kills while the opposing team has barely 70. Oh. And 1 report was for griefing, the next for not moving, and the third? Oh. He's already gone."
Don't release any gametype until the community soft launches. You aren't game developers for this. You made the same mistakes previously in Halo games in terms of timer malfunctions or community people saying to change things. As a company, tell the crucible team to be more committed to fixing what is actually broken.
