So I have seen previous threads about this I even made one long ago referencing the fallen drones being similar to the Phfor drones. With that being said the MIDA weapons have a direct connection to the marathon timeline. The mini tool lore tab has a reference to Strauss as in Bernard Strauss. It also contains the other information such as the reference to Battleroids. That in of itself is a very telling thing. Now moving on to the lore tab for the Multi tool, it goes even further to postulate that is from a different timeline altogether also adding to that is its cache logs talking about the MIDA insurrection. This to me serves as one of the best connections to that timeline. Not only that but one of the warminds that did existed was named Charlemagne (who once owned the sword DURANDAL). Who passed it to Roland. That’s besides the point. I think it’s very cool for these little bits to connect this way. Now what makes me ask questions is how the MIDA weapons got there. Was it the Bray’s or the Ishtar collective that somehow pulled them over?
