Hello again, and sorry for the wait. Last time we visited the Vault of Glass, and now we will be going back in time (I’m trying too hard) to the era of Iron Lords and Warlords!
As always…
Welcome to LfD, or Lore for Dummies! This is mean to be a comprehensive, simple guide for people wanting to get invested in the Destiny universe.
Alright alright alright, to explain these Iron Lords we must first explain who these Warlords are. I’m going to assume you all have basic knowledge of what a “warlord” is nowadays, but if you don’t, the basic definition of them is a militant commander, who usually controls a certain amount of land.
These warlords were different, as this was a time where “Classes” were not defined quite yet. Guardians were simply known as “the Risen”, and were immortal, as you all know. Well, these asshole warlords were going around, using their little plastic toys to revive them and conquer normal humans who had survived the Collapse.
So, this man named Radegast got real sick of their shit, and formed the Lords of Iron. These “wolves” would move around, killing these warlords as they went, liberating the civil folk from their scarily overpowered leader. These wolves were hailed as heroes, and got very, very popular. These Iron Lords were Lady Efrideet (It’s kinda hard to not say Efridoot, now that I think about it), Lord Felwinter (shudder), Lord Gheleon, Lady Jolder, Lady Perun, Lord Radegast himself, Lord Saladin, Lord Silimar, Lady Skorri and Lord Timur. Not to say there weren’t any recruits, but they were typically named “young wolves” and none are really that significant.
Perhaps I’ll go over them altogether separately, someday…
Moving on some time later at the height of their popularity, Radegast gets the great idea of investigating this weird SIVA stuff that he heard about. Well…
We all know how that turned out. If you don’t, the Iron Lords tried to use SIVA to help civilization, but most of them got killed in the Replication Chamber.
Besides that, Efrideet and Saladin are the last of the old Iron Lords, and continue to hold the Iron Banner, hoping to build the legend back up again someday.

Thanks for reading! I lied about having it ready for next week. I was really excited about going over a new topic and had a good amount of free time, so this is what I have right now. Stay tuned for more, and feel free to add anything to the comments.
