What if the weapons and armor locked behind randomized perks could actually be reacquired through different methods? Last week, I had the idea of completing Field Test weapons from Banshee-44 every week, like in Destiny 1, to acquire an item called a [Gunsmith Token] for each FT weapon you finish. You would then be required to turn in 5 Gunsmith Tokens, an Enhancement Core, 10 Legendary Shards, and 250 Glimmer to Banshee-44 for him to give you a [Foundry Order Set]. Roll over any normally locked weapon or armor piece in your Collection and, instead of seeing that red line of text saying that it can't be reacquired due to random perks, it will display two options. (Details) (Order) Select the Order option and you'll be taken to a new screen where you can choose the perks you want on the gear piece, and the perks themselves are limited to any perks you've ever acquired on the specific piece of equipment. [b]EXAMPLE:[/b] [i]You try ordering the Forsaken version of [armory]The Last Dance[/armory] before acquiring one with Full Auto Trigger System and the perk will not be on the list.[/i] Once you have selected the two perks, you can hit the third option on the screen: (Finish order). Doing this will close the screen and replace your (Foundry Order Set) with a (Written Foundry Order) which you are to turn in to Banshee-44. After that, you must wait for Arms Day to come around so you can pick up your ordered piece of gear from the Gunsmith. Just like in Destiny 1, the more times you rank up with Banshee-44, the more orders you can place before Arms Day. In the cases where you select a Black Armory weapon or armor piece, you will be charged two (Modulus Reports) and one (Black Armory Schematic). Upon completion of the (Foundry Order Set), you will be given a (Written Black Armory Order), which you must instead bring to Ada-1, where it will be exchanged with a (Black Armory Detailed Frame). You must bring this item to the Bergusia Forge in the European Dead Zone on Earth and complete the ignition to claim your ordered gear piece. [u]Awaiting official reviews.[/u]
