Stop With The Izanami Threads (RANT)
Seriously. It’s Japanese folklore that far predates the third Reich.
1.) Izanami’s full name is “Izanami no mikoto” (she who invites).
- if you do your backwards spelling magic now your little tantrum makes zero sense.
2.) No. It could not have been a differed “word”. The story of Izanami and Izanagi is in regards to the creation of Japan. Izanami is the Japanese goddess of creation and death. This ties very nicely into a Japanese forge which creates weapons.
3.) By sundering the name of a Japanese goddess with the third Reich YOU are doing FAR MORE than Bungie EVER could to offend people.
4.) By making light of an event so tragic that it shaped the direction of humanity YOU are utterly misguided and in a severe need of growing up.

10 RepliesThis is why people hate Millennial's. Like, how dumb do you have to be, to take a NAME from a foreign language, then to intentionally read it backwards, and claim it is racist? That is not how words, meanings, or ANYTHING works. Redrum? It's from a movie, made INTENTIONALLY to strike a thriller experience form the viewer as the movie is a horror thriller, so GTFO if you are gonna attempt at making that connection. My name backwards means stubborn in Turkish. That means absolutely nothing unless you are a dumbass that gets offended by every thing in this world that has no connection to anything, such as the English spelling of a Japanese name read backwards, or the English spelling of my name read backwards in Turkish. These morons vote.
