Le Monarque Information Dump
I'd like to start gathering some information about this exotic so we can start figuring out what our chances are and if there is a specific way to boost our chances getting it. There are a lot of scattered posts regarding this bow between this forum and reddit so compiling info into a solid place would help people better analyze information. The poll question I'd like to ask is if you got it already roughly how many forge runs did you run until it dropped. Also if you'd like please feel free to include the following in the comments:
1.) Which Forge:
2.) Did you have a weapon frame (final step)?
3.) Was the weapon frame for powerful gear?
For those that have yet to get it please feel free to put in the comments how many runs you've done so far. Im at roughly 46 between Gofannon and Izanami.
If you have any new information please add it as well in the comments. Yes this includes [b]credible[/b] rumors and any proof you can add really helps.
So far this is what I've been able to come up with based on my searching and attempts at getting it:
Izanami – Confirmed: Image & Video Proof.
Gofannon – Confirmed: Image proof.
Volundr – Unconfirmed: Rumors people have got it. No proof.
• Drops from activity rewards screen right before forge releases weapons. Like any other activity completion exotic reward.
• Having a powerful gear weapon frame seems to not be a requirement based on some accounts.
• Seems that having a weapon frame (Final Step) can help drop chance. However people are saying they are getting the weapon from the frame and the exotic bow. Also, they drop from different sources (Forge drop vs. Activity Completion drop). This may not have any real effect on drop chance and is coincidence due to people being in the forge in the first place to do a weapon frame.
• Max Temper drones have no effect on drop chance.
• Killing non-radiant special enemies (I.E. Yellow Health Bar) does not directly or indirectly affect chance.
• Does not seem to be a rare bounty powerful gear drop.
• No extra steps showing up or being reported to get weapon to drop.
• DMG04 on twitter confirmed the weapon is dropping as intended and no investigations are going on regarding it.
• DMG04 on twitter could not confirm or deny if a weapon frame was needed or helped drop chance. Bungie is staying tight lipped on this annoyingly.

- Per Zero: Multiple people (10) stated that they had Izanami forge unlocked before the bow dropped.
- Per Guardian: Many people who had last week's hand cannon frame got it on their first run.
- Per Balderdash1112: "ONLY DEOPS WHEN COMPLETING A BOUNTY. WEAPON FRAMES, ADAS WEEKLY, AND BALLISTIC LOG BOUNTIES HAVE A CHANCE TO DROP IT. DOES NOT DROP ON ITS OWN"
"Cause every single video on YouTube and every person I’ve asked has completed one of those 3 bounties when getting the weapon dropped. Which sucks too u can’t grind the forges over and over to get it dropped"
- Per A D1 Raid: I did about 10 forge runs without a frame, no bow / Did the bow frame, no exotic. / Did the pulse frame, got the bow.

Edited by Antosino: 12/27/2018 11:43:13 AMI did 30+ Gof. runs last week and a handful of the other two, not counting my powerful frame runs, and ended up getting 3 black armory lore entries and that's it. My second character had the frame bug and couldn't buy any, so I was only able to try with one. This week, it dropped for me on my very first powerful frame; Warlock, hand cannon powerful frame, all bounties in inventory with 4/5 minors completed but not turned in and both weeklies incomplete (the run did not complete any), fireteam medallion active, emblem for that specific forge on (the "secret" one for shooting symbols, not the triumph one) and also had the "kill the two drones" buff active for the key chest at the end. I basically tried to meet any possible conditions I could imagine. Later that day I also had the new raid sparrow drop (no instant summon, wtf?) so it was a good day. If I'd also gotten Anarchy I'd just quit the game because all my loot luck would've been used up for the new year. Edit: Jesus, when I first posted this it showed my name as "Account Removed" in Orange letters and I spent thirty seconds desperately searching around and guessing what I possibly could ever have been banned for until I refreshed and it had update. Almost had a heart attack!

4 RepliesFYI - I had a non powerful pulse frame left over on the last step . First thing I did on reset was jump into Izanami Forge and had the bow drop. I did NOT have a powerful frame but I believe if you run a frame that is not powerful and it’s your first forge completion it can drop . Just an FYI . It was called a radiant frame when I joined the forge it was not a powerful frame .

Finally got it today. Was working a powerful hand canon frame at Gofannon, had a single forge bounty on and shot both drones. Prior to this I had 50 on Volundr, 60 on Gofannon and 39 on Izanami. I think the bounty and drones may increase the likelihood of the drop.

Do weapons honestly have a drop rate like legit numbers if you looked at the code u would know? Cause I always figured rng is just rng nothing but randomness every time

I got mine on my 8th or 9th completion at the Izanami forge! I have a clanmate that’s gotten it on all 3 characters and 2 of which were on 2nd or 3rd run of Izanami and Gofanon!

So first I farmed with my warlock unlock both bow and pulse and had done over 20 plus Izanami .. nothing. So I try and do go for it on my titan I still had hammerhead frame but abandoned it during this week just to get it back from ada and unlock first forge (on titan) after doing so I continued on to unlock other forges only to have noticed after completing first forge and receiving hammerhead that ada had frames for bow and pulse later to have noticed them been removed from her inventory as a frame selection on my screen for my titan this I had noticed after I had retrieved tainted gear for Gofannon forge( so to back track) my warlock unlocked every weapon frame but hand cannon + 20 and counting attempts on same frames (bow . Pulse) no bow. On titan had to unlock all three forges only to lose frames for pulse bow and any other frames that was probably or suppose to be out this week in ada inventory.however so I did forge all 3 weapons given ada herself gives you frame for each hammerhead Tatara Gaze and the biz with is new. Did not do pulse hand cannon or auto on titan. Did however about 10 bounties mb more on titan. So now on my hunter last week when I was told the hand cannon was a rng but come finding it was actually a frame on my warlock I had still forgotten to delete grey hammerhead frame so last week hand cannon frame did not appear on my warlock don’t know why don’t care. Since I unlocked both the first and second on my hunter and left my hunter with no frames. When I jump on my hunter I had remembered last week since my warlock didn’t get a chance at the hand cannon I did however get a chance for the frame with my hunter. With was a great roll. Anyways I had left my hunter with a grey frame for hand cannon. I had finish the frame instead of even checking ada first. After I finished it I spoke to her to see both bow and pulse frame no hand cannon. I went to finish hand cannon frame and got the bow solo not flawless and I didn’t complete all the frames didn’t even unlock last forge on hunter yet

2 RepliesI've been extremely lucky with RNG and exotics TBH. Managed to get everything for Warlock and every available weapon I've tried for (Not even interested in doing new raid right now for grenade launcher). Did the forge for the bow and then went in for pulse rifle. Got the exotic bow and ghost shell from that run. Had the same luck with 1k voices. Opened up 1 chest on first raid completions and it dropped.

1 ReplyJust saw 2 scrubs get it in 1 game. After 10 frames nothing. Literally getting annoyed. 2 drops. [b][i][u]2[/u][/i][/b] and they did NOTHING to help. If I didn't haul ass and carry them we wouldn't have made them. This game irritates t f out of me sometimes

10 Replies50+ runs on the Izanami forge and no bow. I've done a few runs completing weapon frames, nothing yet. On a side note, I think it's a dick move by a Bungle employee to put up a picture of himself having it within a few hours, knowing how to get it, and then rejecting to confirm anything about how he got it. If it is pure rng, then I salute any who got it.
