im trying to get hold of someone or be able to talk to someone about this situation.
many years ago i had got an account and made blizzard wow accounts to share and geek out to but later on in the years i was the only one to play them and they had lost interest. I had brought destiny 2 and all the updates and annual pass got 3 characters which are on this profile but i found out a few days ago that my account was hacked and i now no longer have any power over it loosing many years and hours of time and money that had gone into the account.
long story short i am looking to find the answer or see if there is anything i can do to get my data or at least something back from that account to my new account so that im am not at that much of a loss for destiny 2 and i can carry forward in my experience without having to level this new one up that i have just brought because of my addiction to the game and my clan.
as previously said I have already brought the £50 legacy edition so I can at least get up to forsaken as within the last month i have already brought now 3 copies of destiny 2 and 2 annual passes one of each for me and my brother and now the new copy so I can still play until I find what happens with my old profile so if anything I will be willing to buy another annual pass if I can at least get my data transferred or something back so I don't lose my hardcore ground gear and collections.
blizzard will not help me in any way shape or form because of the new law that states name of the account has full power of the account no matter how recent it has been changed or how long they have not been active on the account or been in control of the account which is why i can no longer gain access or regain ownership.
please someone out there if you can help me, guide me in the right way or share this post around until it gets seen by a member of staff that i can communicate with i would be over the moon and extreamly greatfull :3.

TL;DR From what little I did read, the answer is no. This is because 1) account security is not Bungie’s responsibility, and 2) Bungie’s policy is to not transfer items/progress from one account to another.
