They literally do the exact same thing except BB is a instant kill = recharge whereas Ursa is a roaming super so it’s much easier to counter. The shield upon casting B.B. is impossible to destroy and the super cuts through litererally anything, including the “wall” Ward of Dawn, which despite buffs, is still pathetic. The shards of Galanor allow for spam of an uncounterable super, and it’s unfair.

Edited by Ghostfire239: 12/23/2018 3:52:51 AMI know I already posted but just wanted to say it again. Bungie already said that they’re planning on doing something about Shards.

The loudest voice in this community are hunter mains, and they deem everything, except for themselves, op if it is slightly better or on the same level of something that the hunter mains have. Hunters are never going to complain about shards, and warlocks and titans don’t complain often because their posts usually get flooded with hunter main comments telling the op to “stop whining,” even though ironically hunters whine about everything.

bb u have to stay alive for a little while longer after hitting folks wit super to get ur super back. ursa u get it back instantly. ursa is roaming and bb is instant cast.

1- It’s mayhem where supers are meant to be spammed, not normal crucible where supers can’t be spammed. The strength of supers overall shouldn’t be determined by their performances in a mode like mayhem. 2- To need only one kill to get your entire super back...yeah no I highly doubt that was actually intended, or at least it didn’t appear that way before mayhem came out, if I recall correctly. So I’m suspecting it’s a bug that might’ve appeared when the game got updated with the new mayhem. Hope they’ll fix it soon like they did with the Gwisin Vest bug that let Hunters run around with SB active for several minutes Also I do agree that BB popping Ward of Dawns is a little bit too much. As far as I know, the only thing that really blocks BB is a deflecting Arcstrider...Banner Shield Sentinel...I think it does? Maybe not? But regardless, there’s not many things that can actually block it, so yeah WoD should be able to at least take the full force of the super before popping. Especially with Helm of Saint-14 users.

The major difference is HOW they work, ursa was dependent on shots hitting it and in PvP before the nerf I believe it was 2 shotgun shots and you had full super back, shards is dependant on hits/kills a single kill gives back around 20%~ the only game mode shards is currently an issue in is mayhem and that’s only due to the light amplification buff we get, in general play shards is nowhere near as powerful as that, in most quickplay matches shards will give 1-2 extra supers back whereas ursa had the potential to have you be in captain America mode for the rest of the game (depending on how stupid the other team is). On top of all that, should a BB die mid use the regen perk doesn’t work and they’ll start back at nothing.
-
Because huntards cried that stupid players keeped shooting the shield and we all know how Bungie is bias towards hunters and treat them as their special love child.
-
Bungie probably thinks that defensive abilities are more powerful than offensive. Like how Ursa allows you to literally have your enemies either risk the damage and you get the energy or run and get killed. Shards is more kill based and Bungie thinks Blade barrage needs a buff too. This is pvp speaking.
-
Because BUNGO LOVES op hunters and they would never nerf them
-
Edited by Ghostfire239: 12/19/2018 6:32:15 AMBungie already said they were nerfing it. Do people actually look into these things? Not trying to be rude, it’s just that a lot of people seem to be asking this but don’t seem to be aware of that Bungie said they’re looking at Shards.
-
Destiny 2 is a Hunter's playground.
-
Hunters have been nerfed more than Titans and Warlocks. Once they get enough data on BB it will get buffed or nerfed accordingly. Same goes for Ursa... Data will get it buffed. Crying nerf makes you look like a fool... Nothing more. Data determines the nerfs and buffs so stop crying already.
-
I to am dumb founded. I don’t want a BB nerf. But the Ursa nerf was not fair. And the PVE nerf to ursa was unnecessary. Should’ve got a buff instead.
-
Hunters cry and Bungie listens. Hense why it took 2 months to fix spectral blades hit registration and sentinel hit registration is still trash after well over 450 days.
-
Because hunter is the least balanced class right now
-
And if you look to our left folks you can see a heard of raging crytans in their natural habitat
-
Bc ursa basically allowed you to get your super back every time while shards only does it very rarely in pvp. So with ursa it being a roaming super you could get way more kills than with B.B. using shards. If you’re gonna argue my point than please make a logical argument.
