Petition to remove the Otherside exotic sparrow out of the loot pool in strikes
I don't know about you but i'm sick of getting hyped over an exotic drop but it's just my 9th otherside.
[spoiler]Editors note: Seems like everyone can agree on this. Don't remove the exotic sparrow. but instead make it so once you get it, you can't get it a 2nd time.[/spoiler]

2 RepliesThis happened to me yesterday. was doing the fanatic strike and when we killed him the box shot out a precious golden loot. my excitement was palpable as i thundercrashed over to the engram. only to find out it was an exotic sparrow i already had. i punched a hole in my wall. the end.

I actually enjoy a few extra shards and glimmer when i need it, i keep them in the vault...use it like a resupply

2 Repliesi think once you get any cosmetic item from open world grind you shouldnt get that drop again, instead, you should get something else like an exotic you dont have like a different sparrow, although i really want an other side sparrow, is strikes the best way to get it?

3 RepliesPetition to add more exotic vanity items to strike loot pools so that you will have something to continue crying about. Bitching among friends, assuming you have any, is one thing. Posting on the forums crying like a bitch about loot drops like this is just pathetic.

I appreciated it long enough to get a "shorter summoning time" Otherside to replace my "better in air movements" Otherside. Now it's getting to be a bit much. It's the "On the Comms" of strike drops.

I feel they should put all exotic sparrows from previous seasons and year 1 in the loot pool. People who getting the game for Xmas or people who started from the Forsaken have missed out on some cool stuff. Just a thought.

3 RepliesIf it comes from the chest it's The Otherside. Exotics don't drop from strike chests, only from daily/weekly challenge rewards at the end of strikes or RNG from enemies. If anyone has video proof otherwise I'd love to see it, but pretty sure this is consensus as fact at this point. My 2-year-old niece is consistently surprised when the Jack-in-the-Box pops out after turning the crank, even though it's the same thing every time. Sounds like you two would have a lot in common.

Or here's an idea - if an Exotic Sparrow from a previous season keeps dropping, how about letting us get Exotic Ornaments and Catalysts from previous seasons too?

Lol, especially with some of the exotic drop rates currently, did a daily strike a couple of days ago, see the engram and then was like oh . . . the sparrow. Dismantled.
