I made a post about this in the consoles section of the forums and am basically bring given the run around by whoever has responded there. This is a serious issue impacting both consoles (albeit a little less noticable on the ps4 pro and even less on the Xbox one X which further process my point that it's an optimization issue for consoles to handle all the content). The issue is this: loading times. The loading times have increased substantially since warmind. Forsaken made it even worse. When I say loading times I mean literally every type, from traveling into a planet, loading into a new patrol sector (greatly can impact times things like nf), and opening the inventory screen (impacts the entire game especially when in need of switching weapons for any reason). I have pinged people from both consoles in a FB group of thousands and it's pretty unanimous that the issue impacts both consoles. For some perspective, I own a less than one year old Xbox one S. I regularly clear the cache. I have 200 mbps internet speed with very rare and far apart problems and I reset that regularly as well. I still have these issues of loading. As stated previously, it wasn't bad at launch though the inventory had always loaded a bit slow but since warmind and Forsaken that's gotten far worse and sometimes it takes 2 minutes just to load into a new patrol area. I'm always behind people in strikes. All that being said, the game needs some kind of optimization at least for the older consoles to be able to stop this. I'd love if this info was passed on to the appropriate team to investigate and possibly my address this issue.
