I have a theory on what Vex actually are
So I have a theory on what the Vex actually are. The Vex are actually a "Technological singularity". A digital hive mind. And the Black Garden is actually a realm beyond ours, created by the Singularity. A virtual paradise... So what do you guardians think? I came up with the theory while I was on a bus so it's not very in depth.

The Vex are a hive mind, you’re right. They are the white liquid we see inside the frames they inhabit. They are the radiolaria. The robots are just frames for them to inhabit and fight with.
