Sniper reload looses ammo in crucible
Reloading a sniper in crucible subtracts the ammo you were trying to load.
For example, I start with two rounds, and pick up a green ammo from the ground, giving me one in reserves. Upon reload, I’ve lost a round and have no in reserves.
