My main inspiration for this post was the controversy surrounding Black Armory. These types of people are worryingly common in the arguments around the recent DLC.
======WARNING======
This is based off of my opinion.
Don’t get your ego in a twist.
========================
1- The fan who does not acknowledge issues. This would normally be fine, but they are very adamant on voicing their opinions. Not that bad, just annoying as hell.
2- The fan who will complain about everything that does not meet their often outlandish expectations. This can be particularly bad for indie devs, but Bungie is a fairly large company, so this is more of a nuisance rather than tax on the developers’ mental health. Also not that bad, annoying, like 1, but on the opposite end of the spectrum, for lack of a better term.
As long as these groups are kept separate, there is no “trouble” (I mean, it’s still an unhealthy mindset, but it doesn’t come to the point where it really bothers anyone).
But if they combine, like in the Black Armory rants/praises, holy sh!t does it get toxic.
Any legitimate criticisms are shut down by group 1. Referring to them as “mindless haters” or “trolls”.
Any legitimate praises are shut down by group 2. Claiming their opposition are “fanboys” or “sheep”.
Name calling, while being a moderately effective propaganda technique, does absolutely nothing to resolve an argument or change anyone’s mind who already has strong feelings about another ideology.
Be considerate, despite how flawed the “other side’s” views seem, hear them out. You might just learn a thing or two.

Thev whiners got what they wanted ... this is the most American thing. They got their American dream - the forge is now 600 power. Is everyone happy? I hope so. By the way I did the forge on the second day after release. I did not whine about anything because I am one of the few people that play video games for fun and leting off steam after work. I don't care if it's the blind well for a 500th time ... I would do it 500 more because I like shooting stuff with my friends. The fact that Bungie cattered to the whiners and changed its mind so fast was not good and we will rethink our next big game that we are all going to get and play and it will not be by this company. Not because the forge was 610 or anything - but because there is no security with this company, today is this, tomorrow is something else. Whatever the casual whiners want ... I am not saying D2 is good or bad I am saying that Bungie are a terrible company with no goals or anything just - cater to whoever whines the most and receive money. We are looking into Anthem and The Division 2 ... some of us would prefer a first person shooter - thus we agreed on playing Destiny 2 but Bungie are just really, REALLY bad at what they do. We will have fun playing with sticks and rocks aswell if we didnt live in different countries - the only difference between that and Destiny 2 is that Destiny 2 costed us about 200 euro by now and will not be here tomorrow, while the sticks and stones are free, and will be here forever ...
