So I was playing Destiny 2, grinding Blind Well for the week before reset, as I normally do because I would like to earn my "Cursebreaker" title eventually. I left my Destiny running on my PC on accident while I was out at school for 5 hours, and when I returned home, I was not allowed to log into my account.
Apparently, in my absence, I had been banned. I understand that I won't be able to appeal/dispute this (I read the policies and terms multiple times) and I am well aware that this will most likely be ignored. But I must at least try. I have been a loyal Destiny player for 4 years, and I've been a loyal Bungie fan for even more. I have never cheated in a game before, so I don't think that is what caused my ban (I have only modded games such as Skyrim, Fallout, and Witcher for extended playability). So I am convinced that some other software could have caused it (The things I had running in the background were Overwolf, Steam, Battle.net, Spotify, Kaspersky (Anti-Virus), NVIDIA, Discord, and my Adobe Workshop (for photoshop, was working on a school project)). I know Bungie issues their bans with a good reason and with thorough, manual investigation, which is why I am curious as to why I received a ban if I don't even know what I had done to deserve it.
If anyone could help me in this matter, I would be the happiest Guardian in all of Sol. If not, then I understand, I will just have to get my game refunded and purchase it again, and be more careful with what I have running in the background. This game has given me some of the greatest memories that will stick with me for a long time. I just don't know if I want to restart for a third time (I played on PS4 before I started on PC, which still allows me to play just fine, but I have no friends on PS4 anymore because they are all in college or moved to PC).
Sorry I wrote a lot...I just really love Destiny and I would not intentionally try to hurt my own or anyone else's experience. I lead two clans and I try to help everyone as much as possible. I'd love to get back into the action on this account, but if I must refund then purchase it again, then it's what I will do...If you've read this far, thank you. ♥

If you want to play, you'll have to start over on a new acct. A refund is highly unlikely. You'd have to contact your retailer about a refund.
