Seed of Light Drop Rate Lower Than Exotic Drop Rate
50 Tier 3 Blind Wells this week on 2 characters that only have 1 of 3 subclasses done.
Never had such a grind for something that I was told is guaranteed after running a couple Tier 2/3 with my Warlock.
600 on all characters, still haven’t finished the other subclasses for my Hunter/Titan.
What gives?

If this thread is even alive, got my seed of light on my titan after 2 play throughs in the well during max curse week. THEN got my next one from the Queen, finishing off my titan’s subclasses.
Guess the Destiny gods are slowly telling me to stop playing with the Hunters because RNG for them is god awful.

Edited by The Fool: 11/24/2018 9:37:10 AMcan't say i've had that issue. as a matter of fact i and a friend of mine both got two at once when doing leviathan together with randoms a couple of weeks ago. people keep telling me how lucky i am with drops. not sure if it's just that or if people just look in the wrong places (or simply complain too much and play too little)

2 RepliesI've done around 40 level 3 well with my main titan and haven't got the third seed yet (only got my second thanks to Mara). First time doing the well with my hunter right after reaching the Dreaming city, got a seed. RNG is like this and it can be pure bullsh*t, but we can't do much more, stay strong my dude.

I have only seen the seed of light drop from tier 2 blind wells. I did 20+ tier 3, nothing. My second tier 2? Seed of light. Its been the same for my friends too. I know it's supposed to be tier 2 and higher. But it doesn't seem to drop from tier 3. Run 2s.

You get your 2nd seed of light from blind well. I suggest doing tier 2 only to maximize chances because the maximum level, (t4 or something) does not drop seeds of light. Your third can either be aquired from queen mara next reset. (Season 5 beginning) or from the first encounter of the raid.

Well thanks for stating the obvious. 3 seeds of light per character max. There is no max to exotic drops.

2 RepliesEdited by WulfPak666: 11/23/2018 2:40:29 PMI have never gotten a seed from Tier 3. Got all 3 subclass on all 3 classes. 1st is freebie from story mode 2nd is RNG from Tier 2 blind well 3rd is freebie from The Queen when the curse is at Max on dreaming city.

You realize the seed can’t drop from a tier 3 if you use the unstable light right?

3 RepliesWere they tier 3? Or did someone put a tier 4 in? Because that negates the tier 3 reward which is very annoying. But don't worry, next week Queen Mara will give you one for handing in your offering.
