So I wasnt too upset about the blind well seed of light on my first character (Titan), but I'm working on it with my Warlock now.
Reason being, is I got Geomags to drop for me and that's the first warlock armor I've gotten from forsaken, but I cant use it until i get my seed of light to unlock chaos reach. (This is aggravating point #1)
So I'm in the blind well, and I'm just noticing things. It's far away from ANY action, unlike the Court of Oryx from destiny 1, so people cant just pop in like they used to. (AP#2) Also, I'm not sure, but I dont think any notification pops up anywhere to tell people that a blind well has been activated (AP#3)
Over the course of 4 hours (waiting and also jumping in and out of orbit), I've done 7 tier 4 blind wells as a 540 warlock. I've only done 2 tier 2s. (AP#4) Why is this? Because people just dont do blind wells.
Furthermore, if the drop rate of the seed of light is 10% at tier 2 (as some people are saying), it is not any higher for tier 3 and tier 4 blind wells, and it should be. (AP#5)
This, combined with how aggravating iron banner and gambit are for solo players, is making hate destiny (I have a .153 win ratio in iron banner this week). And don't get me wrong, I'm in love with space magic and becoming legend. That's what I play destiny for; to feel ultra-powerful even if I'm just doing patrols. But i cant get into the game when I'm focused on these ridiculous mechanics.
I'm aware I should "get a team" or "keep grindin bruh" but where has the fun gone?
Clarity in action,
