This will focus on my titan as I imagine him. This will be in a more light-hearted, probably comical style in contrast to the stories I write for my hunter.
"Sunrise, wake up Shane." The ghost spoke in a voice somewhere between casual and hurried. A difficult to describe tone. The Guardian known as Shane, a titan, opened their eyes and quite literally leapt up to his feet, landing right in front of a standing mirror. The ghost let out something like a sigh seeing the titan perform the same morning ritual as always.
Shane inspected himself in the standing mirror, flexing to admire himself. "You are the man, you will own the day." Shamelessly spouting excessive self indulgent quotes as he did so. "These MUSCLES, am I right?" Despite having a ghost in the room, he was more content to speak to himself as he curled his arms to exaggerate their build.
The ghost, nicknamed Sparky by Shane but bearing the name of Hadron, simply spun back and forth in a manner like one shaking their head in disapproval. Sadly, the titan would be at this for the next half an hour as he always does, longer if he was in a good mood. Hadron/Sparky regretted his choice of Guardian every day.
Finally after Shane was finished with his morning routine the pair stepped out into the streets of the Last City. Shane was stubborn and insisted on a living space in the city itself, but was prohibited from carrying weapons larger than a standard auto rifle. This left Shane unarmed for the first week he lived in the City until Hadron's nagging managed to convince him to get something acceptable. The compromise was two hand cannons that Shane would dual wield, despite this impacting his aim.
"Now, we need to report to the Tower for the usual duties, the solar system isn't going to protect itself, after all." There were only deaf ears for these words to fall upon for Hadron had forgotten that even a moment of letting his eye wander is long enough to become forgotten by his Guardian. Shane had already turned the opposite direction of the Tower and striding down the street, exaggerating the motion of his shoulders and upper body. The titan armor he wore in the city was not the set he would use beyond the wall, but the populace found the set he had modified for himself to be excessive and to some even a bit unsettling. Instead his city set was a more plain set of armor in terms of build, though he had colored it from it's original blank white.
Crimson red and orange flames, of surprisingly skillful appearance, set upon black was the dominant aesthetic for this set. Due to repeated conflicts of opinion on the personalization, he was prohibited from using a helmet within civilian zones. Hadron always worried, and at times hoped, that something massive would strike Shane in the skull and kill him. But that would be a sight he did not wish for civilians, especially children, to have to witness even if he would just revive the Guardian.
Hadron caught up to the guardian that was strutting through the streets. "You did hear me, right?"
"Sparky! Where have you been all day?"
Hadron shook a little with irritation. "Within five feet of you like always." Patience was something Hadron was much more adept at in the past, but time with Shane was sapping this virtue from the ghost every day. "Seeing how you forgot, the tower is THAT way." Tiny outbursts like these were the only way the Ghost could cope these days.
"True, problem with that direction, though, is that the Tower is that way." Hadron reminded himself of the futility in struggling with this man and gave in. Letting the anger pass rather than maintaining it, as it would only grow too much for him to handle. Shane spotted an intersection ahead flooded with pedestrians as was normal this time of day. Shane broke into a sprint now, his mouth shifting into a confident grin. Despite noticing the charging titan, the commuters ahead payed him no mind as he came within mere seconds of colliding with them and leapt into the air, a glow flashing repeatedly as he used the Light to seemingly fly right over the crowd and land on the other side.
Shane then stood tall again, locked eyes with an awoken passing him and shot her a smile and wink. "I invented Titan skating, you know." The Awoken walked by, ignoring the boasting guardian completely.
"No, you didn't." Hadron was convinced that Shane actually believed this, despite always reminding him otherwise. "You don't have the reputation with the people of this sector you think you do." This routine was a nuisance to the public for so long they actually grew used to it and ignored the titan now. Shane's reputation was not positive in the least around this area. "So you should save some time and instead of going out to pick up women, unsuccesfully, go to the Tower and at least accept some bounties."
"Sparky, I need a wingman not a PDA. How have you not got the hang of this yet?" Hadron turned up toward the Traveller.
"I feel terrible thinking even you are capable of making mistakes, but this man was still chosen. Please, send me a sign that he can grow up and be the Guardian Earth needs him to be."
