Also, I have NEVER been DDosed outside of a party. (on xbox). The only way they can get your IP (for cheap ddosers) is if you join there party.

But what I think is really going on is connection manipulating, a ddos attack drops your whole internet connectivity, while "throttling" or banning IP addresses from connecting to host is easier and don't think illegal.
