Blade barrage is OP in Crucible and nothing will change my mind
It is literally the shotgun equivalent of supers, two buttons and you wipe anyone in view within 30 feet. Call me salty I don't care, no class should have such a training wheel super. It's grossly overused especially in Competitive and I'm tired of getting wrecked in 1v1's because someone panic supers me before they lose. Every other super requires aiming or chasing the target down, this one doesn't require either.
Edit: I'm tired of crucible from my solo Luna grind, Nova is broken too I agree, and while we are at it well is super boring! I shouldn't take it out on random people so I'm sorry if this comes off as rude

3 RepliesBlade barrage will more often then not net you ONE kill. Don`t even think for a second that you can consistently wipe out two-three players from range. But i know this community is filled with biased nerds making stuff up on the fly, like blade barrage kill their entire team non stop in comp. (And they loose in Gambit because of catch up mechanics.) One kill with no counter-play is not OP at all. There are multiple supers that can actually kill the entire team, and they have no problems being used as a panic-button aswell. And if you group up together when you see the player with blade-barrage has his super up.. well.

Within view.... It's great against teams that bunch up and team shoot. You know those matches where you think to yourself "Oh man, if I can get some rocket ammo I'll probably score a triple kill on these dudes". Those are the kinds of matches where BB shines. Outside of those matches, Titan hammers are better than BB. Then there's Nova Warp. Dead lord.....Nova Warp.

Nonsense. I only use blade barrage in competitive. The reason it’s so widely used is because other supers are so strong and blade barrage is the most consistent way of shutting down other supers. I get maybe 3-4 kills per comp match with blade barrage, and that’s only if I get 2 -3 supers, because I pretty much only use when the other team pops a novawarp or sentinel super to shut it down before it wipes a team.

3 RepliesSupers should be ridiculously strong. Blade barrage is pretty much novabomb but faster. Novawarp thiugh...I watched a guy pop his novawarp speed over to a guy kill him, blink his way to the rest of us and kill us, respawn and he’s still in his super waiting to kill us as we respawn. It’s frustrating being killed by anything that stands out among he rest of the skills and gear but that’s this game unfortunately. There’s never real balance where everything is just as deadly.

It's basically the only super hunters use now. I hate running into 4 blade barrage hunters in comp. They should buff the other weaker supers of all the classes and make them more viable. That way blade barrage isn't the only thing we see.

Eh its the hunters equivalent of titan smash. The majority of users use blade barrage to cancel supers particularly nova warp. Its rare for them to get more than 1 kill on average.

7 RepliesI. Your absolutely right. Which I why I use it. It’s just a stupid panic button that takes no skill. But it works and I suggest “ like steroids in sports “ use it. Or play a real shooter like black ops 4 . Which I recently moved on to. Tired of the fat -blam!-s in here with no lives who sit and stuff their faces all day and think they are good at a shooter when most people that claim this to be a real shooter would probably get their ass handed to them in cod etc.

1 ReplyFinished my solo lunas grind today and dodged many barrages, literally just bait it and put something between you and them. They used it on a wall several times on pantheon today since I challenged then immediately got behind a pillar Alternatively get underneath them, you might take some damage but they just blew a super.

1 Replyas one of the hunters using blade barrage i do not think it is op. there are better users of blade barrage than me and yes i will use it against one person to win a fight. Not the best use of it but a use of it. Nova warp in my mind is more powerful. but if you are facing a hunter who has it fight from cover. I feel your pain on the solo Luna grind i played 25 competitive games all but 2 solo and picked up -30 points.
