i am a solo player. i want the luna’s howl. this would be possible if comp matchmaking wasn’t so rubbish. i am a decent player who is definitely capable of reaching fabled in comp. i’m not top tier but i’m decent. i will NEVER get to fabled no matter how hard i tried because matchmaking is terrible (solo that is). the amount of times i have come across 4 stack fire teams is incredibly high. around 1 in 3 games. along with that people will see a 4 man and leave instantly or the game will start with a 4 man vs me and to randoms. when people leave the game on anyone’s team that instantly grantees that the team has lost. this has to be changed as it punishes the people who stay in the game more than the ones that leave. the people who stay are the ones who are grinding for the luna’s howl, the ones that leave just jump into comp to remember how much the playlist sucks and want play another game for a month. this has to change whether there is no points deducted or reduced the amount of point deducted when u lose and some has left the game. as well as that 4 stacks must not be able to match solo players and if that isn’t possible reduce the amount on point lost. for example, if there is a fireteam of 3 vs 4 solos only deduct 10 points or a fireteam of 4 vs 4 randoms only deduct 5 points.
i want to like comp, i want to solo queue or fabled, i want to enjoy playing comp. without some changes comp is going to become a choir for those playing for high ranks and a nightmare for those who solo queue.
i doubt anyone at bungie will see this but changes must be added ASAP. please share the around as i would like to play comp without it feeling like a waste of time. :)
