Lord of Wolves is by far my favorite exotic of all time. It was my go to for anything in D1 and when I found out it was returning in Forsaken I was pumped. My only complaint about it in D2 though is that it burns through ammo to quick with the new "Release the Wolves" perk. I like the idea behind it but it burns to magazine ammo and reserves so quickly. I find it hard to use in all content due to its ammo situation. I was thinking of ways Bungie could change it and keep its perk somewhat exotic. What if "Release the Wolves" was changed from a ten round burst to a 2x damage burst. It would still shoot five rounds but after a kill it would do a 5-round burst with 2x damage. I don't think this would be to broken in PvP because its pretty much a 1-burst already. This change wouldn't make much a difference damage wise because if the 10-burst is cut into a 2x 5-burst its still doing the same amount of damage as a 10-burst. (Not sure what a 5-burst hits regularly but say it hits 100 for one 5-burst and 200 for a 10-burst, switch the 10-burst to a 2x 5-burst and you still get the same damage). I think that this would be a good change for Lord of Wolves just for the ammo side. I think that if you just change the "Release the Wolves" perk to be a 2x damage from a 10-burst that it would make the gun alot better.
