So I have been playing on my warlock lately, and chaos reach is an incredibly good super ability, but the "disable early" function doesnt save any super! Please address this to the almighty subclass makers and hopefully I won't have to jeb after a super anymore.

People keep defending Bungie. Saying they said it's bugged. I am not doubting Bungie saying it's bugged. I'm doubting the degree it's bugged. This is the same company whose done some shady business deals. Like locking Playanle game Data behind endgame content after showing it in a release trailer. Looking events behind Light Levels after making events available for everyone, so that only the elite can play properly. I can list more. But the fact of the matter is this. I'm paying money every few months for this game. I'm an investor. And I the investor am demanding to have the product realized soon. We all have that right. And we have the right to ensure that what we pay money on, is fixed in a TIMELY faction.

Hmmm... if it works, it actually reminds me of an idea for an exotic I once presented, called the Circuit Breaker. It allowed 'Trancing warlocks to stop their Stormtrance before it was expended, saving their Super energy. And now it happens... or at least it's supposed to. Maybe Bungie DOES read the posts in these forums.
-
They can't even get what they advertise to work properly, terrible programming.
-
Its bugged atm. Bungie are working on it but apparently its a nasty one. It was said in some playtests it could give back the whole super energy. It will take some time
-
Already being addressed by Bungie.
-
People keep saying it’ll be broken in PvP which again proves that they need to balance some things separately because in PvE we are getting a lackluster experience with the class just so PvP can be “balanced”.
-
I've found that if I don't activate it it doesn't drain out
-
I’d upvote this to the moon if I could. I already have the Geomag Stabilizers, it’d be great if the super worked as intended.
-
Edited by Cinderchar: 10/20/2018 8:58:28 PMBecause one broken super for the worlds easiest class to play isn't good enough? Edit: I’m sorry. I didn’t realize how many butt hurt Warlocks there are on this board. You can always tell someone knows you are right when they get this upset over something you said. Maybe they should add the chicken hat for Warlocks to wear so everyone can readily know who plays the easy class?

Edited by tesc22: 10/19/2018 5:45:54 PMIf you consume (for example) 5% of your super, You will be able to have your super back every minute and one shot every player in pvp Pve = yes Pvp = no This is why you get back less super energy
-
Just like our Infusion and mod economy, it has been broken since Day 1 of forsaken and they have yet to do a thing about it.
-
They’re looking at it, but said it was a -blam!-ed up piece of programming, and it’ll take a bit to fix basically
-
Already being looked at.
-
It shouldn’t do that at all anyways
-
Imagine how broken this would be in PvP with Geomag Stabalizers? Pop super on single target, melt them, turn it off, sprint and top it back off. Repeat.
-
Bungies 1 kid they obviously have to test things must have had a bad day.
-
I've experienced this issue. It DOES save super. Just a stupidly small amount at best. Like I tried it once. Cast super, used half my energy. disabled. Almost no bar to see but still just a sliver there.
-
If u disable literally right after activating it works :p
-
its been a promise that they could not keep.. imagine if you could simply disable the super and get it back in a couple of seconds.. 6 warlocks in the crucible would be having chaos reach permanently .. =)
-
The super sücks now after the update it does hardly any damage
-
Yeah we know it's a bug.
-
I mean I rather just nova warp lol
-
The problem with this is the fact that it would be totally broken in PvP. I feel like the most you should ever be able to get from an activation is 50 percent being only if you activate and deactivate immediately. What I imagine would be the best way to do this would be subtract the percent you us from 50% of the bar. (If you use 25% of your super then you deactivate you gain 25% back. I you use 1% of your super you get 49% back. Since you can’t be negative, if you deactivate after using 50% or more you’re out of luck, or maybe you could gain a flat buff buff to recharge rate on your abilities instead.)
-
Ive never been able to save any super energy. Even when activating it, then immediately deactivating it. Maybe my reaction time is just that bad, I dont know. Its going to be hell in Mayhem if it ever gets to working properly.
-
lol yeah it only saves like 5% Super and that’s if you disable it immediately
-
Nah. Then they would have to do this with other supers as well
