Okay so I'm somewhat of an avid raider of d2 and I started from the beginning. In the beginning we had guided games. It was a great way to meet other guardians who either have never completed the raid or were looking for an active clan. But when I returned from a six month ish run of not playing d2 I found that the whole guided games concept was missing.
Now this may seem okay to some but to me this is horrible. I was an active clan leader and Sherpa before I stopped playing so I took to guided games to find acceptable people for the clan.
It worked do why get rid of it.
Also a few tips if it is to return. Make the guiding part a solo act as well. I was able and still am able to make a successful raid team out of anyone. As long as they pay attention and listen.
When putting the fireteam matchmaking in, make sure to consider that some are teaching.
