I believe it's due that we, as a community, have a discussion about Nova Warp and it's power level compared to other supers. It's becoming more and more aware that this Super is just a little bit too powerful in several ways, and honestly has virtually no downsides.
Let's talk about the problems compared to other supers with these facts, first;
1.) Nova Warp Durability
-Nova Warp is incredibly durable. The most durable Super in the game next to Ward of Dawn, except they can roam and teleport.
-Sunbreaker (Hammers) takes 3 direct impact Hammers to kill Nova Warp. Nova Warp takes one full charge (charge for 2 seconds) to kill a Sunbreaker.
-Golden Gun takes 4 shots to the body to kill Nova Warp, or 2 shots to the head. Nova can OHK Golden Gun
-Fist of Havoc, Sentinel, Arc Staff all take 3-4 hits to kill Nova Warp based on resilience and proximity to AoE. Nova Warp can OHK all three of these.
-It takes 3 Sniper Headshots from Low/Mid impact snipers to kill.
2.) Nova Warp Mobility
-Despite it's extreme durability and power/AoE of it's attack, it's also the most mobile Super in the game. Blinks have incredible distance and you're capable of even blinking vertically in to the air to dodge things like Thunder Crash and Blade Barrage. Default "running" speed is also substantially faster than other supers.
3.) Nova Warp Damage & Use
-Nova Warp can be detonated approximately 7-9 times based on which charge is used and the efficiency of it. No other roaming super can fire off that many times.
-Nova Warp has the largest AoE in the game. It seems approximately 1.8x larger than Thundercrash and acts as a dome when detonated. It's capable of killing players at the peak of their jump above the Nova Warp.
-Nova Warp detonations cost almost nothing (about 1/12th of the Super). Blinking requires 0 extra super energy.
I raise these points simply for discussion. I am not attempting to be salty, nor am I advocating for the gutting of the class. Think Sunsinger's in D1. Similar to the Sunsingers, Nova Warp feels overbearing in PvP. There are almost no ways to counterplay this super other than Blade Barrage and Supressors. Landing a Suppressor on them is very finnicky, often a single blink will get them out of the explosion.
Nova Warp currently has too much going for it. It's the most durable roaming super in the game, it also has the most damage, the most usage charges and the most mobility out of all roaming Supers. It is honestly not balanced in it's current state, and we're only seeing more and more people run this super or even full teams of it.

4 golden gun shots? Its funny because, I'm a slinger main and I didn't even know that. I always play to my advantages, but after my first few encounters with nova warp I'd already decided GG was possibly my only advantage. And now I'm reading not even that would work. It's not hard to admit, that as a hunter with my DPS role in the crucible, I should not be able to kill a titan in full plate armour faster than a mage in robes. If a super charged sentinel is running towards me, it's a sticky situation but if i have a good heavy/couple teammates/super charged it can be dealt with. Nova warp genuinely stops me from capping zones and that says alot, there is literally no advantage to challenging. Other supers, at least when you shoot at them you'll get a point for defeating them a couple seconds after you're dead in high traffic zones. Hell Nova warp is the only super I've ever been killed twice by in a single activation where spawns weren't to blame. Never taken the buff/nerf side for any class, Hunters have always had to the best abilities for the smartest players to exploit in the endgame imo. However, I stand by the fact that becoming OP with a hunter requires confidence and skill that only comes through experience. But nova warp is actually OP by default.
