I lost a coworker the same way a few years ago. He, too, was a veteran, a tank pilot, and had been through Bosnia and Afghanistan. I will never forget the day he didn't show up for his shift and the boss called his cell phone, only to get his devastated widow on the other end.
I know what you guys are going through, and what his family is going through. It's a terrible thing to lose someone to suicide, and is something that shouldn't been taken lightly.
