And another one who see's right through this BS. Bungie is so disgusting.
-
Bungie didn't make the post, dip.
-
And they didn't have to reply to it.. dip, dip.
-
Suicide is serious joke or no their response is a good one to link help stfu
-
They did it because it’s one of their players. When you hear about this info, do you ignore the grieving person? Or share your condolences? It’s human nature, and he posted this from what seems to be awareness.
-
"One of their players," are you serious? Do you honestly think that Bungie gives a shit about any of us? I'll answer that, they don't. They've only cared about the money, ever since their acquisition by Activision. If good publicity helps with that, then they're saying 'so be it.'
-
Nice to know you think lowly of yourself. I’m not saying they’ll cry over a death, but they’re human and they’ll have a moment of “damn”.
-
A corporation is not human, and if I thought lowly of myself, I would be fighting myself. Instead, I'm here fighting virtue signaling white knights like you.
-
White knights 😂 fighting? Bruh you sound way more white knight. Get over yourself. Maybe the people fund Bungie, but you’ve never met the developers. You’re full of yourself for assuming so much. Besides white knights are for dudes who say m lady to women who deserve as much as “alright now leave, your Uber’s here”

Edited by Random Gamer 1337: 10/11/2018 11:19:49 PMPlease, you wouldn't take a second to read about someone's death in the obituaries. If a death makes the headlines on any medium, you'll go on about how it was a shame that the person died, and then forget about it the day after (unless of course they're someone you 'love' or a celebrity - in which case, you might 'feel' it for a month). You're not here to be 'human,' you're just here because spreading condolences makes you feel good about yourself, and it's the same story with everyone here that's doing the same.
-
Spreading condolences do not make me feel good, it’s a heavy reminder, there is nothing pleasing to me about someone’s death. Even seeing videos of it puts weight on my heart, I don’t know why you’re going around assuming everyone is heartless, you don’t know peoples story.
-
Edited by Random Gamer 1337: 10/12/2018 1:47:45 PMYour only motivation to do everything that you want to do is reward, be it tangible or emotional.
-
That’s how it is, you recognize it what that impact leaves behind. No I won’t feel like shit personally. But it sparks a reminder that death exists always, and it helps people to not take a day for granted. It’s a quick reminder, nothing else, and as you get older it could remind you of the ones you lost if it was similar. His friend committed suicide, and it reminded me of my friend who did also. You expect people to weep and weep, it’s just human nature to show respect to those that have passed. You obviously have some feelings about people expressing their grief publicly. He could have many reasons out here, none of which are worrying to you other than he’s exploiting for bumps? You probably perverted the true intention behind the post yourself, stop assuming. Get off your high horse, let people do what they want to do if it isn’t harming you. I don’t push others away when they find out about a loss, I accept their respects and appreciate a positive response, it sometimes helps remind you that the world isn’t always full of hate, like you.
-
Bungie isn’t an entity, it’s a corporation. It was a person that chose to respond and regardless of that person being a representative of the corporation, they are still just a person with their own set of opinions, prerogatives and empathy.
-
So Bungie is disgusting because a community manager shared suicide prevention resources on a post about someone committing suicide?
-
Edited by Random Gamer 1337: 10/12/2018 1:13:10 AMThat is a disgusting to do. That's not going to convince any suicidal people to reconsider - in fact, it may drive them over that edge.
-
So what should he have done?
-
Should remove the post.
Oh, but that would further hurt the OP's feelings, wouldn't it? Forget about others on the brink of suicide, right?
-
So removing the post helps prevent suicide, but sharing ways to contact crisis hotlines doesn't?
-
Edited by Random Gamer 1337: 10/12/2018 12:19:12 PMYou don't honestly think that a suicidal person is gonna see the hotlines and think "look at the help I could get. I guess I won't kill myself," do you?
-
You don't honestly think that nobody in the history of humanity has used crisis resources, do you? Anyway, that's beside the point. You said Bungie is disgusting for linking the resources, & dmg should've removed the post instead. How is that the better move to make?
