I think its about time we had a record/playback feature in-game I know there is a tool internally used to do this. as they make those awesome in-game style videos at other camera angles looking for these features: the ability to capture in-game data streams that destiny can play back. the ability to record long durations of time. but to have the data playback be limited to missions/sessions. the ability to move a virtual camera to key frames of said animation and allow pathing of the camera location focus zoom etc. the ability to upload said video to youtube would be nice but on pc ps4 and xbone ids like to see a save mp4 to a memory stick or internal storage option. (with render settings to set the resolution of the output.) limitations I am willing to accept: recording should not capture spoken audio unless the in-game chat is used. (discord / PSN chat whatever no audio) if I am on patrol, do a mission then chill out in orbit and then do a raid: I should have 3 files 1 for patrol on for the mission and one for the raid. the camera should be confined to the player area. no going out of bounds or whatnot. by default, this option should be on temporary, for the last few activities. an in-game display should let you set whether or not you want to keep this event session. (during a pvp match you do some awesome moves, at the score screen you hit save. ) any other ideas or anyone thinks this is great or dumb?
