So i have spent the past couple of days trying to make a build and create useful builds for the hunters new way of the wraith and the way of the current subclass trees. in practice, these 2 are so underwhelming and underperforming with many issues that need to be addressed to make these 2 as good or at least decent as they should be, (if you want a more in depth explanation and overview click the link) i hope you guys hear this out and see the problems that are these subclass trees.

Wraith's only issue in pve is hit detection. Which is midigated by jumping before each attack. Current's only issues are short duration on it's damage buff and how the super doesn't electrify or proc ebb and flow. and tempest only electrifies. doesn't proc ebb and flow.

I do not have an issue with Spectral Blades but I’ve noticed that when you guard with the new Arc Strider and you’re low on health, if the enemy is shooting you while guarding, you die to misadventure. This is extremely frustrating and needs a fix.

Good Exotics for Way of the Wraith -Gemini Gester (Flawless Execution + Dodge to disorient enemies = Absolute troll) -Sixth Coyote (Double Dodge + Gain Melee back with Gamblers dodge) -Gwisin Vest (Increase super duration) -Graviton Forfeit (Increase invisibility duration) I'm sure there are more but I'm not home right now to find more exotics. Good Exotics for Way of the Wind -Frosties (Sprint to reduce ability cool downs + Ebb and Flow + Arcbolt + Staff Strike + Gamblers Dodge = abilities for days) -Raiden Flux (Increased damage/duration) -Sixth Coyote (Double Dodge + Gambler's dodge + Staff Strike) -Gemini Gester (Dodge to disorient enemies + Staff Strike an enemy off guard) Again I'm sure there are more but I'm not home right now to find more exotics. The only issues are hit registration and that is all, other than that, these new Hunter supers (not including Blade Barrage) require skill and timing, not mindlessly swiping and hoping for kills.

I couldn’t find any use for way of the wraith either but way of the current is very good for gambit. The uppercut is very good against groups of adds, and the arcstrider super in general is very good at taking out a whole wave of adds or the prime evils envoys.

Completely agree with you, man. Hope to see Bungie fix those Ways as soon as possible...

I've been complaining about bungie also not addressing the tether super. It has long activation time, low health, slow tether speed which makes it very underwhelming to use. It's activation usually results in my character getting killed and unable to make any meaningful plays with it. I hope that bungie addresses these hunter super issues.

Edited by TopxHealer: 10/4/2018 3:31:42 PMHear me out ok. I actually really like way of the current. I don't think it needs a buff (at least not a huge one). But I feel like a new exotic that takes advantage of the reflect would be nice. The reflect is incredibly fun to use. Reflecting an entire Blade Barrage right back at a hunter and his entire team is one of the most enjoyable things I've done in my life. Just in comparasion to Celestial Nighthawk and Orpheus Rig, it doesn't feel like any exotic does it Justice. Raiden Flux is amazing, but it only increases duration. I would like an exotic that just adds more to the subclass's ability for pure damage or supportive output to compare to Nighthawk and Orpheus. Maybe if you reflect enough damage and release the staff it sends out an arc wave, like how Boltcaster or Arc Blade was but with much higher damage than either to ensure than its worthy of an exotic slot. Or maybe give you and your allies a damage/shield buff based on how much you reflect, that way you don't get killed as soon as you stop reflecting. Or if they just want to buff it, don't allow Sleeper to shoot through the Reflect. All this being said, Spetral Blades kinda sucks in PvE. Its last perk (apparently) weakens the enemy more than Melting Point, but I don't think it makes up for its okay Super.
Bungo plz buff Uppercut in PvP
Spectral Blades is a STEALTH super and it's paired with STEALTH perks. You're using the subclass wrong.

the new titan supers are worse

Yup u are right. Sucks if u didn't get way of 1000 cuts bc there's 3 easy builds there. Infinite knives (ophidea spathe), infinite supers(shards of galanor), or a portable lunification rift(ahamakara gauntlets). Each of these also can be paired with hands on and Dynamo/distribution perks for supers in less than 2 minutes from dodging and knives. And no need crouching to trigger any of them. Please get rid of that horrible excuse for a "mobile" hunter mechanic in the wraith bc it completely goes against the playstyle. I can't comment on the arc staff bc its not upgraded bc... throwing knives.

You ever used a slova bomb in pvp and literally have someone walk away from it. I mean not run, walk away. Or when you shoot it at a yellow bar and a thrall jumps in front of it and it starts tracking the thrall because I guess we need a tracking nova bomb in case we didn’t aim it right.
