What did you do with PVP/Competitive/Quickplay Bungie?
Wow Bungie...Where should i start? What did you do with PVP ? Skillbased Matchmaking not available... Shotguns are way to strong ... titan shoulder charge one hit... and breakthrough.. and many more...
[b]Skillbased Matchmaking [/b]
Why is there no skillbased Matchmaking? It makes no sense at all. PVP Beginners do not have any chances to become "good". And and good players with >2500 Valor Points are playing vs Beginners. Of course is there no motivation to play competitive if you play against those players.
What about to intigrate a Elo System like CSGO or a League like Faceit or ESEA? A Elo System, witch you cannot reset. First at all you have to play 10 games to get a rank. And everything should be fine. Could be so easy.
[b]Shotguns are way to strong [/b]
In Destiny 1 you increased the damage of Shotguns by 100 %. At least 5 out of 8 players in a competitive pvp match are playing with a shotgun and they do nothing more than rush straigth face to face. Its complely broken and it has nothing to do with "competitive".
Reduce the damage by 50 % and/or reduce range.

Sorry.... but this is one of the biggest jokes in PVP. With an "an Insurmountable Skullfort" you can charge enemys one by one.... Just... Why ???
Remove that ...it is just ridiculous.
[b]Breakthrough[/b]
Why is breakthrough in Competitive? If you do not have the Breaker spot, why is it not able to capture it? And if you have the Breaker spot, why do you lose the game if you are not able to capture the vault in time... at least you capture the spot and you did more than the other team ..right? And 10 sec deathtime is way to long.
Breakthrough is a good idea but some things have to change:
- allow recapture of Breaker spot
- decrease deathtime to 5
[b]Sniper flintch[/b]
Sniper flintch is way to high. If you get a hit from any gun from any distance it feels like you get punished in the face by a wrestler. This should be fixed too.
[b]Competitive PVP[/b]
Control, Clash, Countdown, Survial and Breakthrough are in competitive mode cycle. Why is it not able to select one or more modes, which i want to play? That would be a nice feature.
I belive that many more would play PVP with this changes.

1 Replyi just decided to quit playing, not only because pvp is a -blam!-ing disaster but also they removed the one dungeon i actually wanted to do, I'm not waiting 3 weeks for it to come back and I certainly am not waiting until they decide their pvp needs fixing. PVP to bungie is last priority, you won't see any shotgun changes, you won't see any skill based MM, you won't get balances for the classes because they'll end up annoying 1/3 of whatever player base they have. I've made a post detailing that if anyone has a problem with the pvp in destiny and they want to play pvp then go find another game because this trash is only building up, I'm tired of shotgun rushing, half their maps have sharp corners, oddly built steps that are just high enough to stand under and camp, map design in general is garbage. There's a large portion of the community that find the sleeper, just fine. that think shotguns and the rushing you can do with them, fun and better than people just have hand cannons or whatever, you can't win with this community because they're all a bunch of asshats that either only ever play destiny or play so casually shotgun rushing effects like 10% of their playtime and they probably do it themselves. you can't win with a community like that, let them have their shitty pvp their decent pve and go play blackout when its out or literally anything else.

When SBMM was introduced or reintroduced (or whatever) during Rise of Iron was when people stopped play D1 Crucible. Shotguns aren’t op. Just ask anyone who got hosed down for even trying. They’re more of a defensive weapon now or for quick corner clearing which what they’re designed to do. Not seeing a problem. Sniper flinch has always been high. Not too sure if you played D1 but sniper flinch was high as well. All I’m seeing and hearing from your post is that you’re absolutely terrible at engaging the brain to think and act accordingly which is no surprise considering half the PvP population are the same. Either you quit crying and get better, or to be bad and complain. PvP balance is the best I and most anyone who knows a thing or two about balance have ever seen and people like you are trying to destroy it because there’s no real clear meta to abuse.

About all of this tells me you’ve never played D1. Shoulder charge not being a melee ability, shotguns having a lot more ammo and being more powerful, and some of the worst connections thanks to SBMM. Remember TTK pvp anyone?

Have you ever tried competitive? That's skill based. SBMM in Destiny = LAG, LATENCY, DELAY! When there will be dedicated servers, ask again.

I only agree with sniper glitch. Everything else is similar to d1 and in a much better place as before. The only thing I can tell you is learn to adapt. I love crucible and comp as of now. Minus the mass amounts of heavy ammo and horrible sniper flinch.

We don't need any more nerfs. Shotguns are fine the way they are. Learn to counter. Don't blindly rush around corners. Use a sidearm or fusion rifle and force the shotgunners to rush you down a long lane or out in the open and shut them down before they get within range.

I would say that people who ask for SBMM have no S, but I have no skill and I don't want SBMM. The big reason being the P2P-hybrid crap B uses.
