I'm fairly new to this app so bear with me as I clumsily navigate my way through it. As I was browsing the forums, one such member inspired me to create a thread dedicated to video game inspired drinks, particularly of the adult kind. I personally love a well-made cocktail and love them even more when there's some nerdy inspiration behind it...such as the Dirty Wastelander from Fallout 4 pictured here. I also have started to dabble in brewing my own beer for funsies and that's pretty damn fun too. So if ya'll got a favorite drink, go-to gaming beer or something you'd like to try to make (or challenge us to make) let's see what you got! I'll start with the recipe for a Dirty Wastelander. [b]DIRTY WASTELANDER[/b] * Bourbon (1.5oz or more depending on how strong you want it. I prefer to use Bulleit. But Jack and Jim will work just as well.) * Coke/Pepsi * Mutfruit (blackberries, the larger, the sweeter) * (optional) Fresh mint leaves for garnish [b]Instructions:[/b] In a rocks glass, muddle the mutfruit - I said MUDDLE, you're not fingerbangin your girlfriend, so don't go crazy with this shit add whiskey cubes/whiskey ice ball, or 2-3 fairly large ice cubes. Note: dont add crushed ice! You will water it down and it will taste like shit Add bourbon. (I like it strong because gaming with a bunch of dudes who lose their shit when a female appears has turned me into an alcoholic.) Fill with cola/pepsi and stir gently to mix the flavors. GENTLY, dammit. Don't bruise the booze with your caveman ways. OPTIONAL - take one or two fresh mint leaves, place flat in palm and clap your other hand over it once or twice. This brings out the oils of the herb and infuses a minty taste. Finally, enjoy the drink and let me know what you think! Ps: If you could read the instructions without getting offended, congrats.
